He can't be. At least, not until his brother pays for what he did to Nightmare all those centuries ago. The only thing standing in the way of his revenge is Dream’s positive magic. Thanks to some help from a potion Sci made, Nightmare can finally fix that pesky little problem.

His recent symptoms, as mentioned in the telegram, were as follows: several days of pallor and lethargy, exhaustion untouched by frequent sleep, and then a sharp decline characterised by high fever, intense pain in the head, and pronounced muscular weakness.
(or, the one where Jonathan Harker's 'brain fever' was encephalitis, and it’s not done with him yet.)

Cale wanted to rest. He needed to rest. Yet, he couldn’t calm his heart. Not with Deruth in front of him, not when he was hugging him so tightly, not when he was caring about him like he was his own child.
But Cale was not his child. Guilt was eating him up. He supposed it was only fair to tell the truth to someone he learned to call ‘father’. Even if he’ll regret it later on.
Aka, I just finished reading the first book and the last scene of Deruth and Cale struck my heart. I love them too much to not give them this.

Thanks to this oversight, the once capable AI has been reduced to only having access to the knowledge and memories of those currently present in the temple. Fortunately for the group, they soon realize that there are many questions that only Cale Henituse knows the answers to.
