Summary
Qui-Gon has been offered a seat on the Jedi Council. It's a great honour. A position where he can affect change. Shed light on things that he felt the Council often missed.
But there was only one problem. Obi-Wan Kenobi. He couldn't complete his Padawan's training and hold a seat on the Council at the same time. Shamefully, it's somewhat of a relief. He and Obi-Wan have never clicked and Qui-Gon has worried that his own failures as a teacher would stunt Obi-Wan's progress.
But all this leaves one question: who will become Obi-Wan's new Master?

It was not as if things were complicated enough as they were. Thanks the Force, he had Cody. He would not know what to do without Cody.
Obi-Wan was a man of duty though, he could face his most painful feelings and those who provoked them.
He could collaborate again with a man he loved in silence and secret without breaking down.
He could not do otherwise anyway.

On the one hand, ‘Ben’ was the best babysitter Anakin had ever hired. He worked for free, was the main thing. But Anakin’s kids actually liked him. They ended the day with all the same limbs they’d started with. Anakin came home from work to four children doing their homework and (some sort of) dinner on the table. ‘Ben’ even made Anakin’s lunch every day. Oh, and he was really, truly, incredibly attractive. (Which shouldn’t matter. But it did, a little bit.)
On the other hand, neither he nor Anakin knew his real name, who he was, what he did for a living, if he already had a family waiting for him at home, or where ‘home’ even was. So that was a bit of a wrinkle.
Or, Obi-Wan has amnesia (of a fashion). It’s an Overboard AU.

A!Obi-Wan has given up his life ambitions to raise the twins (dead Padme.). Enter Anakin, whose always been obsessed with Obi-Wan, biting at the bit to lay claim on his older step bro since he wasn’t able to do it before prison."
