The Doctor’s eyes were fixated on the door across the hall learning to Katie’s room. ”You know, my dear fellow, I’m fairly sure I promised someone I’d look in on you from time to time. I can’t say I have the faintest idea who, but I’ll look in on her too.” He said, “From time to time.”
The words seemed to escape the Doctor's mind and tumbled over his tongue as if he’d never get another chance to say them.
Like there was urgency behind his words.
