Namjoon is leaving a long term relationship behind him to go to Gyeongju, where he signed up for a month-long art workshop. Of all 18 participants, his roommate Jeon Jungkook is definitely the most mysterious. There is this pull that he feels every time they just stand next to each other, one he can't explain.
"There stands a man, the most beautiful Namjoon has ever seen. The top of his black hair is tied into a short ponytail behind his head, uncovering soft features. His eyes, deep as ink stand out the most, watching Namjoon as if wanting to say something. He's wearing an opened blueish hanbok with a modern twist to it, embroidered around the wrist and ankles with an intricate flower design. Clothes are too big on him and yet, Namjoon guesses the athletic figure underneath them. There is something deeply captivating about him. Maybe it's the unusual apparel for such a young man or maybe it's the edge of a tattoo peeking from under the collar of his black t-shirt."

Namjoon takes another step Jungkook’s way, his body within reach, and Jungkook has to crane his neck higher to meet his eyes. His scent fills the air, and Jungkook devours the minty, aftershave, warm musk smell until he feels his brain become fuzzy. Jungkook’s so unprepared for the effect it has on him that it sends a shiver through his body.
Jungkook takes a step back, and Namjoon takes another step forward.
“I owe you,” Namjoon murmurs, bends his head down, and moves his lips close to Jungkook’s ear. Jungkook tries to swallow a gasp when his knees buckle. “And I’ll be in contact soon. Very soon. Yes?”
Jungkook nods his head dumbly, unsure he knows what he’s agreeing to at all.

jungkook is scrolling down the timeline on his private twitter account when he finds a video that's just eight seconds of namjoon flexing his arm. the text of the tweet reads “can he use those biceps to rearrange my guts, holy fuck”. he stares at it, cringing at the thought of being elbowed in the stomach by his hyung; jungkook may be more than just a little in love with him, but that doesn’t change how clumsy namjoon is, and they’ve all experienced his wayward limbs to various soft parts of their bodies over the years.
jungkook jumps a bit when seokjin suddenly rests his chin on his shoulder. “why are you looking at thirst tweets about joon-ah?”
the words give jungkook pause. “thirst tweets? why would getting punched by namjoon hyung be a thirst tweet?”
