Tutoring with Mr. Midoriya (he insisted that you called him Izuku, his first name, after hours. Your stomach fluttered every time you said it) was great. He was very helpful, your test grades rose, and you came to really enjoy learning about history. Over time, your tutoring turned into a sort of book club, where Izuku would recommend some supplemental reading about whatever subject you were studying in class, you would read it, then come back to discuss it with him.
You looked forward to your tutoring sessions. You didn't have the best home life, and then felt like the one evening a week where you got to… breathe. Be yourself. And he listened to you.
Listening slowly turned to consoling. Reaching over to rub your shoulder, your back. Side hugs turned into front hugs turned into holding you through your tears. You came to rely on Izuku for more than just your grades.

Your love for him, and, maybe more so, his love for you, protected you and warmed you. Warmed you from the inside, from your heart, in a way that radiated throughout the rest of your body.
