Summary
It had been nearly 2 months since Charles had been attacked by an unfamiliar trio of men on his way home from groceries after the utter disaster that was the Australian Grand Prix. Prior to that day, he never would have considered Monaco to be a dangerous place – it was his home – but since the attack, he’d been spending less and less time at home.
After everyone had gone back to their respective homes and lives – after some convincing – Charles had tried to settle back into his own routines. He’d unpacked his bags, ordered in food, and tried to just enjoy the unprecedented downtime created by the cancellation of the Chinese Grand Prix. Sure, Arthur stopped by more than he normally would – even when they were both in Monaco – and Max kept reaching out to do things together (which was odd), but things were normal.
Everything was fine.
