He's only a few yards from the front porch, the same one he's sat at semi-regularly for years now. The front door isn't broken on its hinges like he's used to, isn't banged up and scratched, and he finds himself staring at it, trying to sort through the possibilities of what could be going on. The most obvious answer is the one he's really, really trying not to contemplate.
He's in the past. He's in the god damned past.

There had been nothing about the day that suggested it would be a particularly eventful one, but it does tend to happen like that, Thomas thinks. One moment, you are sipping tea or reading a paper or having a bath, and the next has your world turned on its head.
He feels that tilt-shift now as he stares at the caller on his doorstep, or rather at the caller's missing leg. It could be anyone—a complete stranger—but he knows at once it is not. The ghost of this man has so conspicuously haunted their home that looking at him now feels both familiar and unnerving.

Eddie nearly drops their takeout when Marisol suggests it: “We should plan a double date.”
He repositions the bag of food and unlocks his door, letting Marisol in first and giving himself a few seconds to respond. “I don’t know that they’re really the double date kind.” He himself surely isn’t and the idea of joining Buck and Tommy specifically is even less appealing.

But it's all going to be fine. They're going to go to Steve's parent's heretofore undiscussed lakehouse, spend two weeks slow-roasting in the Indiana sun, and be normal teenagers for once. Really, the least they deserve at this point is a little summertime relaxation.

Mike frowns. "I don't know. Um. Dark hair. Hazel eyes? A pretty smile. Not too short, because that would make kissing them kind of awkward. I'm pretty lanky, so maybe someone a little more filled out than I am."
"Okay," Lucas says slowly. "Does that remind you of anyone in particular?"
Mike opens his eyes and shrugs. His gaze travels around the room, like he's trying to find the right person. "Not really."
Well, no one can say Lucas hadn't tried.
AKA 5 Times Mike is not interested in dating someone and 1 time he definitely is.

He bares himself open, takes off his clothes and his defenses, daring to hope. Duang has to know by now, Qin doesn’t work like him, he can’t say the words, but the kiss was as much as a declaration as an ordinary I trust you, when he takes off his shirt, he is saying I like you, when he takes off his pants, Duang must understand Qin is giving everything he has. His body and his heart.

Duang moves immediately, standing and nearly tripping over himself as he rushes to cross the few steps between them.
His hand catches the doorframe, taking a moment to just look with a small smirk on his face. Up. Down. Back up again.
Qin turns fully toward him.
“What are you waiting for?”
“I’m trying to be respectful,” Duang whines in response.
Qin raises an eyebrow at him “You’re failing.”Or, the continuation of episode 6's last scene.
