Summary
He makes his way to his cabin quickly, footsteps squelching on the already moist floor, a hand held over his head as he tries to prevent the droplets of rain from falling on his monocle.
He’s almost to the door of the small building when he hears someone’s footsteps behind him.
Immediately, he tenses up, hand reaching for his revolver and turning around to point it towards the sound, eye scanning for movement as he looks for the intruder. He really hopes that it’s just one of his nosy shippmates— but as he looks, he realises… it’s a very familiar face who's been following him.
He sees the telltale blue feathers of his brother and immediately, his gun is back in his holster, his muscles relaxed as he studies Illumina’s follower.
“Sword?”
OR: A tragedy has occured, and Medkit is left to try and pick up the broken pieces of his brother.

Two Time’s feet barely make a sound against the floor of the wooden boards as they sneak around. Their eyes are wide, darting about as they move about.
The hotel is strangely dark today, the usually bright lights flickering off and on, keeping them on edge. Sure, they know Shedletsky, that strange admin, is keeping the killer distracted for now, but they’re feeling like something is wrong this round.
Like something bad’s gonna happen.
OR: Two Time and Azure meet again for the first time after the incident.

Gently, he put two cold fingers to Chip’s wrist. It was extremely hard to tell if there was any heartbeat over the sound of his own frantic one pounding in his ears. Sighing shakily, Gillion moved his hand up to Chip’s neck. Please be alive, please be alive.
After a moment, he felt it. The beat of Chip’s heart was quick but steady, though not any quicker than normal since the “transplant” he’d received. He was okay. Gillion sighed once more, regaining a steadiness to his own breath.
Even so, he couldn’t bring himself to draw his hand away.

Summary
Here, the wind got into his jacket and pierced his skin. Here, it was biting and made his cheeks hurt as the wind lashed him. He had to stare at the ground beneath him whenever they went out. Which really never happened, because he hated the feeling of the wind getting into his eyes, making them water. He supposed that he didn’t really even have a reason to hold his chin high anymore. The Tidestriders were no longer nobles. They were just… ordinary people. A few Tritons living in a coastal town, instead of the city known for their people, or even in the ocean.
The house creaked as the wind picked up, making Gillion wonder if a storm was coming in.

OR Gillion Tidestrider is a 17 year old boy in the 1980s whose family just moved to a small coastal town. With little to think about and less to do, he wanders down to the beach one day as a storm encroaches. He's never seen a proper storm before, but this storm will certainly show him all sorts of things- how to make friends with a boy his age, and things he never thought possible, like life aboard a ship that sank 300 years ago.Series
