Summary
Because I refuse to go down in a world without Peter Parker and Tony Stark, I'm going back to the good old days of Peter's origins as Spiderman.
When Peter is bitten by a radioactive spider at Oscorp, it is up to the Avengers to figure out how he has changed and if he will be ok...unless Oscorp gets to him first.
There is going to be so much whump in this I can't even. I've been sitting on this fic for a while, so I'm posting in the hopes that it will motivate me to keep writing!

Peter breaks three toes and hits his head hard against concrete. There’s a steadily bleeding wound in his side that he’s staunched with his webbing and tries not to acknowledge it when it burns.
He can still walk in a straight line, which is good.
He’s starving and tired and cold.
It’s been fifteen hours.Or, Peter doesn't take any breaks during a lengthy fight with the Avengers. The mind-melting fever that follows really should have been expected.

They almost immediately slowed to a stop, and Peter immediately pulled back as he grabbed onto her shoulders, scanning her body frantically.
“Are you okay? Are you hurt?” Peter eyes were crazed in a way that scared her.
“No- no, M’ fine.” She assured him, getting more and more confused by the second.
Peter let out a shaky sigh of relief.
She realized one of her hands was wet though. Confused, she pulled it away from Peter to inspect it.

Her stomach dropped.

Given that over the course of the past eleven months Peter Parker hasn't contracted so much as a head-cold, the teenager thought it safe to assume that the whole 'irradiated spider bite' gig had equipped him with an immune system of steel that rivalled Captain America's.
So when he wakes up one night in the midst of the worst asthma attack he's suffered in almost eight years, neither he nor the rest of the team can think of a logical explanation.
And everything sort of goes downhill from there.(Set in an Alternative Universe where Peter moved into the Avengers’ Tower following the events of The Amazing Spider-Man.)
