Summary
Buck wasn't sure what he'd been expecting when he arrived for his appointment. Maybe some strange, mystical feeling building full of magical artifacts, crystals, love potions… okay so that might have been a bit extreme. He wasn't expecting a perfectly normal office, decorated in creams and deep blues, calm, soothing and, well, boring honestly.

“I can't believe you're actually making me do this,” Steve complained as Robin shoved him towards the tattoo parlor looming large in his vision. She laughed and pushed him right into the door.
“You promised,” she reminded him in that irritating sing-song voice.
“I was drunk! You can't hold me to anything I say when I’m drunk,” Steve protested as she manhandled him through the door and into the waiting room.“Well if you don't want to be held to things when you're drunk, you shouldn't make promises when you're drunk,” Robin stated firmly, ignoring him as she danced around him to the counter. Steve pouted and crossed his arms over his stomach. He knew that he was going to give in because he always did when Robin asked. Plus he had promised her. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if he got it really small, in a place no one would ever really see?

“You did not just say that,” he said, trying to hide a smile. Eddie wiggled his eyebrows at him dramatically.
“I did indeed. I am the Emperor of egg fried rice. The ruler of ramen. The savant of spaghetti.”
Steve couldn’t help but laugh as Eddie began expanding on his wondrous skills with pasta.
“Fine, fine,” Steve giggled, having to hold up a hand over Eddie's mouth again to stop him. “Pasta sounds great. If you promise not to burn the kitchen down.”Series

It was a shock of realization, it was like he touched a live wire, and everything in his brain- in his life slotted and clicked right into place like puzzle pieces. It made sense when he thought about it. Of course this was his answer. Of course it was Buck. It had always been Buck. Nobody would ever love him as devotedly as Buck did. Of course, it had been Buck that he spent all of his life searching for.
Or an alternate ending to Season 8 episode 09. Buck and Eddie fuck nasty after Eddie's goodbye dinner.

“Eds, seriously,” Buck sighed, trying to find an appropriate place to hold on—or even rest his face—as Eddie hauled him up the stairs in his loft, presumably planning on throwing him onto the bed, which he couldn’t deny having had a few fantasies that began just like this.
Still, he didn’t think they were headed for that kind of fun right now.
Because the steady growl rumbling Eddie’s chest made it pretty apparent that he’d reached the end of his tether with Buck’s antics at work, even if Buck still wouldn’t change what he’d done on their last shift—which had been cut short for him, though not for Eddie.

Buck gets hurt at a scene, sparking a reaction in Eddie that is usually reserved for mates, which is especially odd since they aren’t nor have ever been dating, let alone bonded as a pair.
So when Eddie shows up at the loft after his shift, feral and lost to his wolf, he proceeds to literally lick Buck’s wounds, nuzzle his crotch, then test every last fiber of Buck’s willpower as he desperately tries to do the right thing, not wanting to take advantage Eddie in this state.
Which, for the record, he fails at—though neither is bothered by that in the slightest.

This whole thing is Bobby's fault. He's the one that suggested Eddie apply for the mate matching service, it was his idea to look for an Omega that would love and care for Christopher, to find a mate to be by Eddie's side.
Eddie's gonna have to send him a fruit basket or something. It was the greatest idea Bobby's ever had and because of it they now they have Buck in their lives, in their pack and firmly nestled right in Eddie's heart.
