Somedays it's just not worth it, getting out of bed.
He doesn't decide to stay still so much as his body decides for him, when his leaden limbs refuse to move and his eyes don't open. Fine, this is fine. He's not a stranger to this kind of morning. Moving isn't a necessity today. It's not even a requirement. The covers stay pulled over his head, thin, because it is summer, and it's that thinness that allows a sliver of light from the window to bleed through to his closed eyelids, letting him know that it is well into the morning.
Window? His bedroom doesn't have a window, so where–
Oh.
There's a sleeping redhead next to him.

Dazai isn't used to any of this. And Chuuya is err, Chuuya is sleeping.

Chuuya stops the cylinder without looking and clicks it back into place. "You're going to count," he says.
Dazai blinks. "What?"
"Every shot." Chuuya's voice drops low. "It's the least you can do." He taps the cool metal of the muzzle twice to the underside of Dazai's chin, and tilts upwards. "Be good."

Chuuya has one bullet left in his revolver. Dazai has a request. Chuuya, who has never made a good decision where Dazai is concerned, says yes.

"I know what you want," Chuuya snarls. He's angry. He's been angry, actually, since the door. "Drink the goddamn tea."
