Summary
Gimli finds himself captivated by the beauty of Lothlórien. And among all of this, he wonders why Legolas suddenly changed his mind about him. And he, himself, starts to notice that there is something about the elf he hasn't noticed before. Maybe after all, they both have some things in common? Is there a chance that maybe even though they are so different, they can become friends?
(Or Gimli tries to understand Legolas and accidentally noticing that not only Lothlórien is strangely beautiful, but his elven comanion is as well...)

Inspired from a post made by wheeloffortune-design on tumblr.
Tired of his lonely kitchen in Yavanna's Garden, Bilbo Baggins wonders if the dwarven love of being underground is true in death. If so, maybe his dwarves are living (ha ha) under the very land Bilbo is weeding.
With that thought, Bilbo goes and asks Hamfast for a shovel.

Summary
"He just had to go and mess it all up. And mess up Bilbo did, if the looks the dwarves were giving him were anything to go by. Their expressions were those of complete and utter shock as they all stared at Bilbo. Thorin, especially, had turned concerningly red in the face as he stared down at the hobbit, who was cradling a pebble in his open palms as his anxiety grew.
“Um, so… you do not want this, I take it?” Bilbo asked in a small voice, barely able to keep it from cracking.
Thorin made a sound eerily similar to that of Lobelia Sackville-Baggins choking on a piece of asparagus. Then he promptly turned around and stomped off without a word.
The hobbit watched him go and tried his best to school his expression to not show any of the mortification he felt at that moment.
Well done, Bilbo, now you’ve really done it."
-Bilbo gifts Thorin a rock as a token of friendship, but gets more out of that than he could have expected.

The scent of ancient wood and dew-kissed petals always brought him back.
