Every seafarer knows that mermaids are a commodity in black markets. Their flesh holds power beyond what humans can comprehend. If consumed, a mermaid will give its attributes to whoever has eaten them. Their tears are said to heal and eating enough blood and meat is said to grant immortality, but Hongjoong wouldn’t know about that. He’s far more interested in consuming the tongue and language center of the brain so as to communicate with the beasts at the bottom of the sea. With the power of mermaid speech, Hongjoong plans to leech their secrets from them to better fish them up. But it’s only a great sense of unease Hongjoong gains when he catches a mermaid with stars in his eyes and discovers the creatures are far more human than what he has been told.
In which Seonghwa is an otherworldly beauty from the depths and Hongjoong cannot fathom how easy it is to love him.

Summary
Pirates spend their lives hunting down treasure, but the most valuable treasure of all isn’t gold or jewels - it’s mermaid scales. After the majority of Captain Kim Hongjoong’s crew is decimated by disease, he has no choice but to turn to the hunting of mermaids to keep himself and his remaining men afloat. When a new pirate joins them, however, he struggles to maintain his control over his crew, his ship, and his emotions.
It’s only a matter of time until Hongjoong’s notorious reputation falls apart, but little does he know that darker plans are at play beneath the surface.
Mermaids can walk on land if they choose, but doing so is practically unheard of due to the risks. Seonghwa is the only living mermaid of his kind left, and after a life of hiding from ruthless hunters, he hatches a plan for revenge. He poses as a pirate and steps ashore for the first time in his life, all with the intent to destroy a certain captain, his crew, and his ship from the inside.
It’s only a matter of time until Seonghwa’s true identity is revealed, but he plans to destroy them all before it comes to that.

Yunho runs a Pokémon blog called PokéPal with his longtime friend and Videographer, Wooyoung. They feature Pokémon and their trainers that they meet on their travels, and it's gotten decently popular. One day in Celadon City, Yunho meets an adorable Raichu in a Pirate costume and her handsome trainer Hongjoong.
He fumbles his way through the interview, taken by the handsome man, but realizes too late that he didn't ever ask what Hongjoong did as a career. It's okay, though; when the post goes up, Yunho finds he made a complete fool out of himself in front of the Champion, Kim Hongjoong.
Great. Just ... great. At least he won't see Hongjoong again.

Revali pointed his wing towards the ship parading the skies. Vah Medoh gleams in the distance. He spat at him with malice.
“Oh, you must pardon me—I forgot you have no way of making it up to that Divine Beast on your own!”
Whatever Revali said after fell onto deaf ears. That Pompous Rito needed to learn what flightless really meant, if he truly wanted a battle in the skies, Link would give him just that. There was a reason he was considered Hylia's chosen.
It was not his merit within combat that gifted him the title of hero but his fearless, albeit reckless, courage, and unfortunately, Link did not understand what limits were. His courageous spirit that possessed him had travelled through time, traversed the dark dimensions between, and defeated the demon known to all as Ganon however many times as needed.
How bad could a little flight up an oversized mechanical Cucco be?

He pulls his head back, turning and tilting it so that he can look up at Seonghwa, pouty lips twisted in confusion. “It’s not time for you to be home? You don’t get out of work until five?” His words come out more like questions, a little unsure of himself, his mind still too muddled to really feel like anything makes sense.
“Mm, I took a half-day today,” Seonghwa confirms, brushing his lips against Wooyoung’s forehead. He frowns against his heated skin, drawing back just enough to stare down at Wooyoung with concern. “I was worrying about you so much that I was a bit too antsy to focus on work. You were being extra clingy this morning when I was trying to get out of bed to get ready, so I thought that maybe you were feeling even worse.”
Wooyoung is miserably sick, and there's very little in this world that could make him feel even marginally better. Luckily, his boyfriend Seonghwa is the perfect remedy to all that ails him—even if he can't magically cure him of his chest cold. All Wooyoung really needs is a little comfort and a hand to hold.

If only his familiar in human form wasn’t the bane of his existence, it would actually be quite helpful to have another set of hands around.
