Summary
Neil can't survive in his household anymore, and he doubts he'll make it pass eighteen. Neil runs away from home, leaving only a suicide note and an old heart locket with one word inside to help guide Todd and his friends to him. And he knows they will, eventually.
Todd's spark diminished when he found out Neil was gone. Days seemed to drag on with no purpose since Neil's smile wasn't there to brighten things up. When Todd finds the locket, everything changes all over again. This is his only hope now.
