Summary
When Harley gets turned, Tony offers to help by bringing him to New York. Everyone’s on edge at the almost-threat Thanos produced, and the new villain in town isn’t making life any easier. Tony’s plate is overfull, he wants to help Harley with his problem but is pulled away for Avengers meetings more often than not.
Unfortunately, Harley ends up finding himself in the middle of everything, and Spider-man inadvertently being his knight and shining armour, is always right at there with him. It doesn't make things easier that Harley is pretty sure Spidey is flirting with him, of all things.
Or. The vamp-au with twilight references and an idiots in love slow burn :3

Summary
The apartment was smaller than the word apartment deserved.
Calling it a box would have been more honest. Four walls, a ceiling low enough that Peter felt like he’d bang his head trying to stand up from unpacking, and a window that technically opened but jammed half the time. The place smelled faintly of mildew, maybe because of the carpet - or maybe because this whole building had given up on life a few decades ago and was just waiting for someone merciful to bulldoze it.
He told himself it was fine. He told himself worse things had happened. Which, technically, was true.
That didn’t make him feel any better.

Peter was standing off to the side with his notepad tucked up against his chest, one shoulder braced against the wall behind them both. He was relaxed, but only relaxed enough that he could see every exit and keep track of every unfamiliar face - while also making sure Harley didn’t do anything catastrophically stupid before lights out.
Babysitting duty, as Tony called it.
Assistant position, the ad posted for the job had said.
Peter tipped his head down, pen running absently across his notepad. He didn’t look up when he snorted, “I doubt he even knows what aerodynamics are.”

Peter is fine, anyways. His boss might fire him soon, the Avengers might arrest him soon, the principal might expel him soon, but none of it has happened yet. And his dad—
“You didn’t get my coffee,” his dad says, halfway through his burrito. He has been in a state of low, simmering irritation all evening, and apparently this is how long it took for him to find a reason to blame Peter for it.
“You didn’t tell me to get coffee.”
“Do you have eyes?”
“Yes,” Peter says. “I have eyes.”
“So you could have checked if we needed coffee without me telling you every little thing, Jesus Christ.”

Peter just wants to make it to sixteen so he can escape this life and strike out on his own. He has a plan and nothing will ruin it.
