Powder skips to him, and then her expression morphs, dropping out of character. "Ekko," she scolds, "you're supposed to greet me back!"
"Right, right." Ekko shakes his head, and he lets Powder pull him into her arms, sighing happily– this, at least, he doesn't have to fake. "Welcome home, my… beautiful, husband?"
Powder grins again as she pulls away, and she presses a big, wet kiss on Ekko's forehead– he grimaces, pulling away from her in return. "I had a long day in the mines," she says, so seriously. "They were… they were so bad today."
