Summary
Slowly, his hands find their way to James’ hair, combing through it with a silent sigh. It’s soft, so disgustingly soft and it makes his heart ache so much. Thighs only parting further for James to clean him up properly. He doesn’t waste an opportunity to kiss them. It doesn’t hold anything sexual- not since Regulus is absolutely done for- but also because it’s too sweet and reassuring and it’s James’ love language.
Yeah, Regulus feels his heart getting heavy and throb with too much emotion. Too many feelings only by looking at him.
“Mm.” James murmurs against his thigh. “I love you so goddamn much.”
Regulus lets his head fall back and gets out a loud huff before it fades into a chuckle,
“You know I do too, you brute.”
