The boy that took him on dates and teased him about anything and everything one could possibly be teased for. The boy that spent seventeen good years by his side.
It’s disgraceful, the power that Wonwoo still has over him. Three little words and Mingyu is ready to sweep all their bullshit under the rug.

Checking his Instagram wasn’t an everyday thing. So Wonwoo missed the story with the New York apartment packed up in boxes. He missed the selfie with Minghao on the flight. He missed the shirtless picture at Runyon captioned “So glad to be back.” But it was only a matter of time before he caught one. Mingyu and Minghao, on air mattresses on their new apartment floor, surrounded by snacks Wonwoo knew that Mingyu didn’t usually eat. A projector hooked up to a phone, playing the Bad Romance music video. The caption that had haunted his mind. “Making the best of waiting for the truck.”
Wonwoo let his anxiety wash over him. He’d been barely holding it back all day. Mingyu was back in LA. And he’d see him tomorrow.

Eleven years ago, Wonwoo was one of thirteen American boys selected for a life changing opportunity. It didn't work out.
