Phainon’s already standing when Khaslana charges in, uncaring of the three other faces in the room. He turns, smile forming like the break of dawn over a long, deep dark night, and goes sweetly shock-still when Khaslana grabs him by either side of his face and crashes their lips together.
Phainon gasps against Khaslana's lips, low, helpless, addictive. Hands fly up to Khaslana’s shoulders, his nape, his hair—
And Phainon kisses back with all the fury of a blazing star.
Something deep inside Khaslana slots together, a colliding of souls. His world rights, insides melting, pulse so loud in his ears he wonders if Phainon can taste it.

Summary
Khaslana sucks in a breath. “Wait–”
It’s too late. Curious fingers gently stroke the base of his left wing.
Every muscle in Khaslana’s body locks up tight at once. His wing immediately twitches beneath the touch, cautious as it is, a small and uncontrollable jerk of sensitivity.
He can’t help the faint, shocked noise that leaves him, barely audible.
Phainon makes a low, intrigued sound, and adds two more of his fingers. With every digit but his thumb, he starts at the sharp tip of the base and slides up and outwards.
A great shudder wracks through his wing from base to tip, a wave that follows in the wake of Phainon’s palm, and it ricochets all the way until it returns to Khaslana’s back and shivers through the rest of him. A bright, quaking warmth begins to pool in his chest.
Oh.

Khaslana’s wings are sensitive. This is a problem until it suddenly, miraculously, isn’t.

Summary
“Phainon.”
Said man perks up at the call of his name and it’s- it’s ridiculous, paired with those fluffy ears. Truly ridiculous. But it might be the cutest thing Khaslana has ever seen.
Khaslana tugs lightly at one of Phainon’s ears, the folded one, until it stands up straight. “Have you always had these?”
Phainon’s mouth drops open in a small o. He doesn’t seem to bother checking for the ears himself, but he does grope blindly around behind him, seemingly searching for the matching tail to go with.
It takes a second, but he finds it, curled up against his lower back, already swishing back and forth in a small happy wag.
“Eh…?” He drags his wide eyes back to Khaslana. “You’re kidding…”

They thought this whole sudden transformation issue was behind them, and then one day Phainon gains his own pair of puppy ears and a tail that just won’t stop wagging. Khaslana… deals with it.

Summary
On Khaslana’s birthday, Phainon made good use of the spare key he was given and snuck into his apartment without permission.
This was fine, since Khaslana specifically told him he was never seriously upset by Phainon treating his place like a second home. In fact, the whole boyfriends thing made the intimacy a lot sweeter. He had an apology prepared in the form of bags upon bags of groceries and kitchen supplies.

Of what could have been between Phainon and Khaslana in Eternal Recurrence #1, had the latter's descent been more gradual.
But the outcome remains the same.
