Haunted by those words and the sorrow in Sasuke’s eyes, Boruto felt he owed Sakura the truth. Despite Sarada’s initial resistance, he brought both mother and daughter to the place where Sasuke was trapped in the God Tree. He believed Sakura deserved to see what had happened with her own eyes, even if it meant confronting a grief she had.
