His green eyes look up towards me and then down at the red fruit. The corners of his lips twitch upwards and my stomach flips as I watch it happen. Holding eye contact, he closes the distance between his lips and the food. I watch him do it so intensely that I catch myself parting my lips too. He takes the sweet fruit off of the fork and lets go of my hand. I can finally feel my chest rise back up again after holding my breath.

"Come on." Dream's tone matched the softness of the squeeze George felt on his waist. He looked over into Dream's room, then to his friend's face. He tried to think about anything at all but nothing was able to form in his empty head, so he smiled with a huff and finally responded.
"You're actually an idiot," George laughed, and the blond pushed his shoulder gently, closing the door behind them.
