Summary
This close to Andrew's neck, the pine and smoke aroma is so strong that Neil is dizzy with it. It's muddling his thoughts, senses zeroing in on the nub underneath Andrew's skin. His fangs are throbbing, gums aching, as static keeps buzzing in Neil's ears and that scent. It's beckoning him closer until Neil's nose is brushing against soft skin, followed by his tongue licking a hot stripe right across his scent gland.
OR: Neil is as oblivious as ever, except this time it gets him laid.

Summary
There’s a faint huff of breath from across the line—silence followed by an incredulous “…you’re asking me to role-play meeting up with you.”
“Yep,” Neil confirms. He lowers his voice a little, affecting a teasing tone. “Andrew, if you were here with me now, what would you do?”
Neil is only joking, but he’d be lying if he said Andrew’s slight hitch of breath didn’t cause something within him to soar with pride. It’s times like these when he wishes he knew what Andrew looked like, if only to see if he’s blushing as hard as it sounds like he is.
“Shut up,” Andrew says, sounding a little breathless. “Are you serious?”
or - Neil and Andrew are online best friends who have never progressed past talking in voice calls. Despite being an ocean apart, Neil wants nothing more than to go home to Andrew.Series

Summary
“This is exactly why I don’t want you and Andrew to meet,” Aaron says grumpily. “You two would get along far too well.”
Neil grins. “I just like pissing you off,” he says, “It’s not my fault your brother does such a good job at it.”—
Neil doesn’t expect much from his Sophomore year of college, but when he becomes a waiter at the Palmetto Bistro, his life gets a whole lot more interesting. As it turns out, maintaining friendships new and old as well as navigating an interesting relationship with the head chef of the restaurant—who just so happens to be his best friend’s twin brother—is a lot more complicated than he’d thought it would be.

Summary
His mind began to wander, conjuring images of Andrew’s lips against his, the black spikes adorning his bottom lip poking ever so slightly into the soft meat of Neil’s mouth. Would it hurt, he wondered? Would he be able to feel the sting? Or would it get swallowed by the plush swell of Andrew’s lips, the gentle glide of his tongue against Neil’s?
Neil meets a handsome stranger outside the club and discovers a newfound curiosity for piercings. He just wants a taste, but in the end, he may get more than he bargained for.

Renee adopts a disapproving glare, the closest to Neil’s own he’s seen on her face. Matt, despite how much he’s had to drink, is immediately contrite.
“Sorry, Neil. That was invasive.” says Matt, hands held up in surrender.
But Neil doesn’t get it.
“Why would he choke me?”

Summary
Andrew has survived the sexual landscape of college solely through the usage of his rules: No repeat hookups. No touching without asking. No feelings. No cuddling. No sleepovers.
It's a simple set of rules, easy enough to abide by that Andrew has had no trouble sleeping around, and in his two years at Palmetto, Andrew has never once broken them.
Of course, until Neil Josten. -

“Andrew,” Kevin pants, his eyes wide, chest heaving. “I found us a striker. Oh my god. I found him.”
“Kevin, don’t-” Aaron yells from the hallway. Kevin slams the door shut, cutting him off.
The desperation in Aaron’s voice catches Andrew’s attention.
“Who is it?” Andrew asks, shocking himself with his own interest.
“Neil Josten."Andrew thinks of Neil Josten’s abomination of an essay and resists the urge to hit something.

Neil swallows back blood. “Andrew.”
“Abram,” Andrew returns.
“I’m losing my mind. I think I’m losing my mind.”
“You aren’t,” Andrew says, so easy, so certain. “You’re tired. You’re scared. That’s it.”
Neil grits his teeth. “I’m,” he exhales shakily. “I’m – seeing things,” he admits.

Summary
Neil is practically plastered to his back as they head for the back of the bus. He turns back slightly to glare when Neil trips him, but the idiot doesn't even look apologetic.
Internally, Andrew rolls his eyes; he has a feeling he knows the reason for Neil's sudden clingy tendencies.
Andrew's arms are pleasantly sore from the full half he played, only letting in a single goal like Neil asked on their way here. He doesn't know yet what he'll ask for in return. Possibly a weekend getaway out of state or as many hours as Andrew wants dressing him up in the mall.
From the way Neil is trying to merge their bodies together, Andrew figures what he'll owe is far from his mind.

Summary
The first time Nicky screams bloody murder he rushes to his side, only to find that he’d walked into a cobweb and freaked out. The others check in too, but by the fourth one even Andrew is debating ignoring it. It changes when Nicky doesn’t scream. Andrew catches a glimpse of him out of the corner of his eye, significantly paler and completely frozen as he stares down a long hallway.
“Andrew,” he whispers, “I saw someone.” Andrew doesn’t bother hiding his eye roll.
“No,” Nicky says, still only moving enough to breathe, “I saw someone.”
“Even if you did, it’s probably just a junkie,” Andrew replies.
He walks down the hallway without fear, Nicky huddling as close as possible without touching. Once they’ve (read: Andrew) checked every room and found nothing, Nicky breathes a sigh of relief, “Thank god, I really don’t actually want to find a ghost.”
Andrew says nothing, letting Nicky walk in front as they move towards a new section.
He doesn't feel it grab his ankle.

Summary
Neil was always going to run, the choice to reveal his name and hidden designation never should've swayed Andrew, but they had.
Neil had swayed him, and now Andrew can only reckon with the fact that he was stupid enough to want again.
It's those thoughts that are circling his head when the car pulls up. It's not smooth, he watches as the driver goes over the curb, though Andrew doesn't care enough to tell them off for their horrible park job.
Not until Neil fucking Josten practically collapses out of the driver's seat, beat to all hell and with red hair to boot.
Andrew is at his side before his conscious mind realizes, his body already having made the choice for him. He smells blood, and fear, but they're overpowered by the sweet scent of strawberry sorbet pouring out from Neil's neck.
His mouth starts to water as Neil practically folds into his arms, pupils blowing wide as he catches the heat scent of slick in the air. He has a second to curse before Neil is looking up at him, glazed eyes blinking heavily before getting stuck on Andrew's face.
"Andrew," He says his name like no one else ever has, possibly ever will.

Summary
It doesn't take long for Neil to join him on the roof, his face lighting up when he sees him. Neil settles next to him, close enough that Andrew can feel his body heat without touching. Neil's wearing the hoodie he pilfered from Andrew's closet a few months ago; he feels his eyes catch on it a little too long. He forces his eyes away, but he leans closer until their shoulders brush. Neil takes it for the invitation it is, leaning most of his weight into Andrew's side.
"So, what is this?" He pulls the dog clicker from his pocket, still in its plastic packaging.
Andrew's hand ghosts over Neil's covered hip, fiddling with the waistband of his egregious shorts. "Don't ask questions with obvious answers," he retorts.
He slips his hand beneath fabric to reach bare skin, grounding himself with the familiar raised skin. "I want to-" The words get stuck in his throat.
Aggravated with himself, Andrew squeezes Neil's hip hard enough to hurt, but Neil only blinks slowly at him, not a hint of expectation on his face. "I would like to be louder. With you," Andrew forces out spitefully.
"Oh," Neil says surprised, "Like when we-?"
"When we fuck," Andrew says shortly.

Summary
During the first 6 months of knowing Neil Josten, he’d refused all conversation surrounding shift forms. It was the Foxes’ largest and most anticipated betting pool yet, and one of many more to come surrounding the newest Fox.
It’s not uncommon for people to be private about their shift form, Andrew himself rarely showed it outside of fights. There were also others like Matt or Aaron who preferred it when possible. Neil had taken his privacy to the next level. He was obsessive in his refusal to share even the smallest amount of information with the foxes about his shift-form.
Andrew knew Nicky had bet that it was something really embarrassing, while Renee thought his reluctance to share could’ve been evidence for an inconvenient form, like a dolphin.
He knew it was something else, not embarrassing or aquatic, but that Neil’s form was real. Real where Neil Josten wasn’t more than a broken person’s dream. Andrew hadn’t bothered to bet, had never even asked despite their game.
It had taken Andrew being broken apart and hastily shoved back together, and a palm dragged over hidden scars for him to broach the topic.

Summary
“Would you like to do something on the 19th, Neil? It could be nice to have a positive memory instead,” Surprisingly, or maybe not, it is Renee who asks.
Instinctively, Neil wants to say no. He’s never cared for the 19th of January. Nathaniel Wesninski didn’t celebrate birthdays. Nathaniel Wesninski had no one to celebrate with.
It’s not like birthdays were a thing on the run either, outside of his need to memorize them. Abram had collected birthdays like some people collect stamps.
But Neil Josten, maybe Neil Josten deserves to celebrate the life and people he has now.
“I’m alright Renee,” he says with a soft smile, “Maybe in March if you guys still want to. Not a party or anything- maybe presents?” Neil cringes just thinking about it, but the conversation picks up with gusto.
Andrew huffs next to him, his breath catching on Neil's ear, “You know they'll never let it go now.”
A shiver runs down Neil's spine, he whispers back, “It'll make them happy, and-” Neil shrugs slightly, “Maybe Neil Josten should get to have this.”

Summary
Neil was panting, lips red and swollen from the earlier harshness of Andrew's own. His head was tilted back, Andrew's position knelt at his feet giving him a perfect view of the long line of his neck.
Andrew couldn't be embarrassed by his desperation to get Neil's pants off. He needed to get his dick in his hands, needed to feel its warmth, the way it would harden in his hands.
He needed to see Neil's face, honest and overwhelmed in pleasure when he finally put his mouth on him. He practically salivated at the thought.
Andrew finally ripped Neil's boxers down to the sound of his stuttered breathing, only to freeze in place. There was a large patch of unruly hair, darker and longer than Andrew's had ever been, but that wasn't what gave him pause.
"Andrew?" Neil murmured in confusion.
Andrew inhaled sharply, the closest thing to regret he'd ever felt welling up from deep in his bones. Here was someone who trusted him, who understood him, who was quite possibly the most attractive man Andrew had ever seen, and he wanted Andrew. Except Andrew had no idea what to do with the fact that Neil didn't have a dick.

Summary
"Allison dragged me in there last time she was in town," He figured it was better to start with the beginning.
Andrew's other eyebrow went up, "What did the barbie want with Spencer's?"
"She wanted me to look at their collection of…" He trailed off, unsure how to finish his sentence, but by the tension in Andrew's jaw he'd been understood.
Neil shrugged, rocking back a little just to feel Andrew reel him back in. "I didn't buy anything. I don't really see the point. Why waste my money on that when they'll never be better than you?" Neil watched as something flashed across Andrew's face, as a hitch worked its way into the natural rhythm of his breath.
"What?" he asked.
Andrew only closed his eyes and shook his head, letting out a deeply pained sigh, "If you didn't want anything, why have you spent half of this trip staring at it."
"I-," Neil bit his lip, trying not to be too obvious with how he avoided Andrew's stare. It wasn't shame that stalled him, but it might've been fear.
"Abram, tell me." It sounded like an admonishment, but Andrew had used his grip to finally pull Neil flush to his side at the same time.
"Would you be upset if I had a dick?" Neil blurted out.
