Yeosang doesn't want to go. Yeosang doesn't want to do anything but stay put, and wait for his missing best friend to return to his side. But when it looks like that will no longer be an option, he makes the call that forces him out of safety and into the unknown. It's terrifying. It's the best thing that's ever happened to him.

Mingi doesn’t speak right away. He just stares, slow and thorough, like he’s memorizing every inch.
“Goddamn,” he finally breathes, voice thick. “Look at you.”
Yeosang bites his lip, pleased and nervous all at once. He gives a tiny spin—arms out just a little, the skirt flaring gently, cashmere catching light in soft waves. When he stops, facing Mingi again, his cheeks are flushed bright pink and his eyes are shining.
“Do you like it?” he asks, voice small but hopeful.
Mingi sits up straighter. “Like it? Baby, you’re killin’ me.”
He reaches over to the nightstand without looking away, fingers closing around the Polaroid camera he keeps there for moments exactly like this. The kind with the square flash and the instant film that spits out pictures you can hold right away.
“Stay just like that,” he says, already lifting the camera. “Right there by the mirror. Give me another little twirl.”

Yunho’s brow furrowed as he searched San’s face. “San… are you feeling alright? Is the Delirium getting to your head? Maybe you should lie down for a bit.”
“I feel perfectly fine,” San said. “I’m just worried. I can’t seem to find Yeosang anywhere.”
Yunho blinked, slow and uncertain, as though weighing each word before he spoke. “Sannie,” he said quietly, “there’s never been anyone by that name in the Sanatorium.”

“Who is this?” Jongho asked the lady, referring to, what Jongho guessed, was a Doberman hybrid with cropped ears.
“This is Yeosang. You wouldn’t want him,” the lady quickly said walking past the kennel to show Jongho somebody else.
“Why?” was all Jongho asked, his curiosity peaked.
“We’ve had some trouble with Yeosang. He’s been to three different homes and nobody has been able to keep him for much longer than a month,”
Yeosang. The name was calling to him. He walked closer to the kennel and sat down, not wanting to scare the other boy.
This didn’t feel right.
Something was wrong here, and it didn’t sit right with Jongho.“I’ll take him,”
