Summary
Sighing, Dan Heng looked up and made eye contact with the menaces themselves, standing a few feet away by a wall and waving at him with matching shit-eating grins on their faces. Though a part of him was happy to see them so happy, the other, more rational side to him thought to himself that he really needed to learn how to refuse them.
After all, Dan Heng’s inability to say no to his friends led him to where he was now: standing in line amidst a gaggle of excited fans, all waiting for a chance to interact with one of the official cosplayers hired by Astral Hunters Games.
--
March and Stelle sign Dan Heng up to interact with an official cosplayer for his favorite character, Yingxing.

“I was just saying that people my age are weird,” Sushang says, taking out her phone and opening it to whatever social media app she was scrolling on earlier. “Here I am, doing my duty as a member of the Cloud Knights by evacuating and guiding civilians during this ongoing crisis, and all the rest of my peers are speculating as to whether the Stellaron Hunter has history with General Jing Yuan! I mean, the Stellaron Hunter is a wanted criminal who broke out of prison, for Lan’s sake!”
A small smile spreads across Luocha’s face. “Oh, you know how people are. They’re often fascinated by the forbidden, and criminals in particular are popular.”
The look Luocha gives Dan Heng is a bit too knowing. “And those on the run tend to be especially sought after. Wouldn’t you agree, Dan Heng?”

“You bought art supplies.”
“Yes.” A beat. “Very observant.”
Blade looked at the bundle. Then at Dan Heng.
Dan Heng refused to meet his eyes with enough determination that it immediately became suspicious.
“They seemed useful,” he said, far too casually. “I’ve been meaning to.”
The tips of his ears were pink, very slightly.
Barely noticeable. Blade noticed immediately.-
Blade takes a stroll through Planarcadia's morning market, confronted with all different kinds of craftsmanship he remembers his past in painful detail. Dan Heng notices and decides to buy some Art supplies. For no reason at all, of course.

“Dan Heng,” March says, aghast. “You were on a date.”
Dan Heng looks up from his paperwork. March is doing her balancing act on the divider again. “Oh. Really? He didn’t say it was a date.” Although Yingxing had offered to pay for the meal, Dan Heng said splitting was fine. Yingxing had walked him to the bus stop, and they parted ways with nothing but a polite wave.
“Oh my god,” March says.

Cultivation AU:
Trepidation isn’t the right emotion for an older sibling to have when their excited little brother tells them he has a surprise for his birthday. But most little brothers aren’t the Heavenly Demon, the absolute pinnacle and despotic ruler of the Demonic Path.
The situation is about a billion times worse than Yingxing could have imagined. “Please tell me I’m dreaming. Please tell me that is not the Yinyue-jun Dan Feng of the Vidyadhara, the Dao Venerable, the revered leader and hero of the righteous sects that you're holding captive," he says, feeling faint. This level of disaster can’t even be described.
“You don’t have to dream about him anymore, gege. I brought him—”

Summary
Ren did not undestand the reason for him to be there in the first place.
It's not like they would start the renovations right at the moment. They just wanted to look at the old furniture to see what would be kept and what should be tossed in the trash, something Ren would be little helpful in doing given that he worked as a tattoo artist and knew close to nothing about woodworking.
And yet, here he was in all of his grumpy glory, tagging alongside his stupid brother despite all the protests and complains.
But maybe once he gets to met Dan Feng’s younger brother all those bitter fellings will turn into something far more sweet.

Summary
Many years ago, the Gods of Spring and Winter disappeared from their posts, sending the world into chaos as the seasons refused to pass. The God of Autumn, outraged at his brother's disappearance, cursed the earth into an eternal autumn, demanding the return of his brother, leaving the God of Summer alone to bring the mortal realm back to order.
Now, eight hundred years later, Dan Heng and Ren meet together on the day of the summer solstice, the longest day of the year, as the two gods indulge in each others company once again.

With a sigh and the final pop of your laced fingers, you turn to your discarded linen shirt, only to find an unexpected visitor seated upon it like a king on a throne, staring at you with beady, slightly unsettling eyes.
Your initial reaction is to flinch away.
The grass snake raises its crowned head, alarmed by your attention, if not your presence.
Perhaps you were truly born cursed.

Dan Feng groaned, placing his hand on his hip. “Ren, this is my younger brother I told you about.”
Ren raised a brow and looked back at Dan Heng, who was struggling to maintain a straight face despite how hot his face felt.
Noticing Dan Heng’s subtle retreat, Ren’s smile turned overconfident.
“The baby brother that lives across the city? You didn’t mention that he was this cute.”
