Was it selfish to want to be loved?
The question lurked in the back of Jupiter’s mind for as long as he could remember. Since the day he formed and gained consciousness, it’s been a thought that circled throughout his mind.
He didn’t know the answer, and was the one who was supposed to know everything! He was the planet the little, curious beings would go to with a question, so why was this the one thing he couldn’t answer?

“One more word and I’m going to drive us both off a cliff,” Hinata deadpanned.
“Well, I would probably survive it. Ultimate Lucky Student and all.” Komaeda tilted his head. “But if you really do want to kill me, I’m sure we can find a way to make it happen!”On the way back from the third-year class trip to Hokkaido, the bus happened to leave two students behind: a tag-along Reserve Course boy who, as always, wasn’t quite sure how he kept getting himself into these situations, and an enigmatic young man who was beginning to feel very, very cheated by his luck.
Now, if Hajime Hinata wants to get back to Tokyo, he’s going to have to face a hotwired car, 900 miles of open road, and ten days stuck with Nagito Komaeda. -

"And what is your name?"
...Oh, right.
"Well... I have many names!" Sun said with pride, his glow brightening up again. "Just like how your name means Zeus, my name is Helios Ra Apollo Inti-"
Jupiter blinked.
And made a face.
The Sun paused. And chuckled. "...But I guess thats a bit of a mouthful for someone as small as you, huh?"
It had never felt right to call himself by those names anyway, considering how the little star couldn't even burn as bright as the other stars.
But then again... those others lost their minds. And Sun gained a planet.
After a bit of thinking... Sun sighed. And he lifted his precious planet back up to introduce himself again, his tone soft and eyes cloudy.
Jupiter smiled back.
Lighting up his surroundings more than any star ever could have done.
"...But you may call me... Sol."
Or
Unlike the Sun, the first time the planets woke up, there was light.

(He twisted the rose gold ring on his left ring finger, the one Jupiter had given him after their first billion years, had kissed stars knew how many times, the one that reminded him of Jupiter’s hair when it caught the light, and pressed his thumb hard against the band until the olive skin beneath went white. I love you, he thought, but there was no answer and—)
He’d stayed. He shouldn’t have.
Or; Instead of leaving on SIMP's assigned mission, Saturn has been sitting in the same spot for three days.
