Summary
After Eren Yeager's death and the Alliance's success in stopping the Rumbling, peace briefly settled across the land. However, fear soon resurfaced, and history repeated itself. Marley advanced swiftly in technology, surpassing Paradis. War broke out as the world, driven by fear, attacked Paradis, with neither side willing to back down.
The Eldian Royalty, refusing to surrender, held their ground, resulting in a tense stalemate. With no end in sight, Marley made a drastic decision: they unleashed a newly developed weapon on Shiganshina, one of Paradis's most fortified and densely populated regions, and the sacred ground of the "Saviour of Paradis." The explosion obliterated the city, forcing the Eldian Royalty to surrender.
The royal family was taken prisoner and held on the mainland, while the remaining Eldians on the island faced brutal conditions. But one boy, Mikael at 15, discovers the tomb of Eren and Mikasa beneath the giant tree. Unaware of the power within, Mikael ventures inside, beginning his journey as the successor to the one who nearly destroyed humanity.

Summary
