Summary
Thomas didn‘t know what he expected to see but not a whole room covered in white. Everything was white. The bed, the sheets, the walls, the ceiling. Hell, even he himself was white. He could use some sunlight.
He looked around the room. Another bed but empty. A small closet next to the window. A chair, another chair and another chair with a sleeping boy on it.
Wait.
Why did this boy seem like someone he should recognize? It took Thomas one, two, three seconds to puzzle the picture together.
And then he let out a scream, high pitched because his voice wasn‘t in use for some time. It sounded raspy and barely like his own voice but Thomas felt the vibrations in his neck so he was sure he was the one screaming.
Or: Thomas and Stiles are twins and Thomas wakes up in Beacon Hills after everything that WCKD has done to him. While trying to navigate in his new life he finally has time to understand some of his feelings. And maybe he can help his twin with his own. But when their grandparents suddenly come to visit everything becomes to much.

“Stiles,” He started hesitantly. “These men are from the FBI.” Yeah he had actually figured that one out thanks. “They are here because, because um- Fuck this difficult.” He sat down on the ottoman next to him, head in his hands, as the two agents sat in chairs on the other end of the coffee table. “Okay” The sheriff inhaled sharply “They are here because of Stephen. He’s alive.” Stiles froze. He could tell his dad was still talking but he couldn’t hear him, all he could hear was the sound of static, like his mind had panicked and shut his ears off before his brain blew up from the shock.
Or
Stiles had a twin brother, Stephen, who went missing when they were only three. Fourteen years later he's back, with a new name and a new family, rescued from some crazy fucking experiment Stiles can't even begin to wrap his head around, but he's trying. Problem is, it feels like Thomas isn't.

Summary
(a rewrite of my other work 'the cat will eat.' and is also inspired by dark matter by mysterycyclone. Some aspects of the fic definitely show that it was inspired by that work of art.)
The sound of howling in Lloyds ear intensifies as he turns to see his friends, looks between fright, worry and shock painted on their faces. They were saying something, something that Lloyd couldn't hear over the wind.
And then he hears a sound, so loud and close he physically jumps and covers his ears. His eyes barely registered a faint purple glow under his feet before he fell through the ground and watched as the rip he just fell through closed itself.
He blacked out the second he hit what he assumed to be the ground, and he awoke to a gruff voice that reminded him of Cole.
"he's waking up."
