"I can't. I won't. I'm not hurting anyone." This must've not pleased them because Vanitas's screams came back full force, all consuming and seemingly coming from all directions. It was too much and Noé covered his ears in desperation.
"Is this what you want, Noé Archiviste?" Charlatan's voice rang clearly in his head. "You have a way of preventing this from happening yet you choose not to."
The sad part was that Noé knew Charlatan was right. Noé had the power to stop what was going to happen to Vanitas. The only thing stopping him was the fear of hurting others.
But Vanitas and the rest of them were able to stop Chloé when she was on a rampage and she was a lot more powerful than he was. Could he count on Vanitas to stop him? Would it even work?
"Charlatan," he said calmly and the screaming stopped momentarily. Charlatan was right in front of him, barely a breath away.
"My wish. Does it still apply if someone cures me?" Noé asked.
"No," Charlatan replied easily. "Are you trying to trick me? How adorable."
Noé paused for a second and then exhaled through his nose and asked, "And if I die?" Charlatan tilted their head so far it was almost upside down.
"Does the wish still apply if I die?" Noé repeated more clearly.
Noé knew how capable Vanitas was, he's seen him in action. At the end of it all, if Noé's name became corrupted, Vanitas would either cure him or kill him if he's too far gone. He's seen him do it to children, so he certainly wouldn't hesitate with Noé. Vanitas wasn't like him. If you told him to kill you, he would. He viewed it as an act of mercy.
Charlatan started laughing again, highly amused. "I knew you were going to be interesting," they said, cupping his cheeks. "No," they said, their voice even more distorted than before. "The wish doesn't go away if you die."
Their hold on his face got firmer, more painful. Noé found it strange considering they were more smoke than person. "Do we have a deal Noé Archiviste? Your name for Vanitas of the Blue Moon remaining human?"
Noé closed his eyes for a second and took a calming breath.
Noé opened his eyes and firmly said, "It's a deal." -

Summary
“Well?” Naenia’s shadowy form had completely engulfed him, though Noé hadn’t noticed. “What will it be? Will you let me grant your wish?”
Noé took a deep breath.
“Please…”
A grin spread across her face.
“Please help me get him back.” Noé pleaded.
Naenia laughed, her claws digging into his skin painfully. The prey had been successfully captured. “Then give me your name!”
Naenia’s lips met Noé’s, stealing his first kiss and his name.
When Noé doesn't grab Vanitas's hand — when he loses Vanitas — Noé will do anything to get him back.
Even give up his True Name and become a curse bearer.

What had he done?
More like, what hadn’t he done?
The thought of everything he’d done made his stomach churn and he pressed his hand to his mouth that was still stained with Vanitas’s blood.
But that wasn’t even the worst of it.
Oh, no.
No, the worst thing about all of this, the thing that horrified him the most…
…was that Noé didn’t regret any of it.
Not one single bit.

Astolfo glared at Vanitas and snatched a pair of trousers off of the floor viciously, half of his body still in bed, throwing it to the corner of his room instead of the object of his rage, and only then did Vanitas realize how exhausted his lab partner looked. Though he only ever referred to Astolfo in the derogatory (the sentiment was always returned), he had often picked up irritation or sadness and kept his pejoratives lighter on those days, as Astolfo did for him. Neither would ever admit this. For good reason , Vanitas thought, even as he entered the room fully and closed the door behind him. He felt just as tired and frayed but did not look any different than usual.
---
He reached out and grabbed the bag. It smelled nothing short of divine. “Tell your boyfriend I said thanks, won’t you?”
“He’ll never believe me,” snorted Dante.
“Exactly.” Vanitas grinned at him and took out a still-warm croissant. “What business, then?”
---
And go fuck yourself! What a pleasant way to end a greeting.
---
beside Vanitas, Astolfo shifted. Let him bear witness to the spat. Maybe then he’ll know never to date anyone.
---
Olivier worked remarkably fast, but Vanitas wasn't watching his process or technique, just what he had came here for, and what did not disappoint him so much as it baffled him. It was the same. Identical. What was the difference between a vampire and a human if they shared the same physical qualities? Vanitas was a terrible Catholic; he did not believe in souls. -

Summary
Mori leaned forward in his chair, uncrossing his leg as a smile worked its way up his lips. “In truth, I’ve been wondering if your allegiances may lie elsewhere, Chuuya-kun, but now I see my suspicions were nothing to be concerned about. You may go.”
“Suspicions?” he questioned.
“Of course. Should I not have concerns about your marriage?”
Chuuya stood up, getting off his knees in surprise. “Marriage? I’ve never been married to anyone!”
Mori’s smile widened while his eyes narrowed to slits. He said the words with a light voice, like the question was innocent. Chuuya knew him better than that. “Oh, you didn’t know? You’ve been married to Dazai-kun for a little over four years now.”
--
OR, Dazai and Chuuya got drunk married in Las Vegas four years ago. But Dazai left the Port Mafia, and now Chuuya desperately wants a divorce.

Been years since I last read a skk fic. Good to know they're exactly the way I loved them
---
Dazai didn’t really have much power to his name—at least in comparison to Chuuya. His own ability was nullification—to rid someone else of their special skill and render them useless while Dazai held their touch. It was powerful, yes, but not in the way his former partner was. Chuuya, if he had wanted to, could make the world bend to his will.
Instead, he seemed content fixing Dazai’s door. -

Summary

("Stop calling us best friends," Bakugou says, but Shouto knows he doesn't really mean it.
"I mean it," Bakugou says, more annoyed this time.)

A few days after his latest failed attempt, Shouto goes to Bakugou's apartment.
“Do you like sex?” Shouto read that sex can be a deal-breaker for relationships, if one party has a fundamentally different view of it than the other.
Bakugou tenses. “Get out of my house.”
“This is an apartment building,” Shouto says.
---
Shouto’s stomach growls. “I’m hungry,” he announces.
“So go home,” Bakugou says. His hand is still thrown over his eyes. “I’m not gonna feed you.”
“I would like some ramen,” Shouto says.
“Go home.”
-
After dinner, with his belly full of Bakugou’s homemade ramen, Shouto realizes that he had left his bag of toys at Bakugou’s house.
Shouto hopes that Bakugou can put them to good use, at least until Shouto can figure out what to do about all the new information he learned about Midoriya.
