The I.A.E, otherwise known simply as the Institute, is a well-known scientific and medical center which shelters fascinating patient cases and experiments within its walls. Staff is constituted of scientists, doctors, engineers, and other talented researchers from various domains who work tirelessly to study and elucidate these anomalous humanoid and human life forms which stem from natural and/or artifical sources. Each floor of the Institute is assigned its own class of Anomalous Existences, and as such, the establishment is qualified to welcome anyone or anything approximating the main objective of this extensive, ethical, and well-protocolized research.
New potential patients should not hesitate to approach the I.A.E if they estimate that their condition is unknown to current science, spanning from a simple curiosity to an untreatable life-hindering affliction.Following an incident which causes the collapse of the I.A.E, and the transformation of this once illustrious establishment into a quarantine zone, a rag-tag team of experimental misfits have to fight for their survival amidst the hellscape they find themselves trapped in.
