Summary
If you came here from watching Heated Rivalry on TV, you’re fine. All you need to know is that Shane and Ilya are married and playing on the same team, and that this is the first book in my series, Out in the Open.
And if you came here from my second book, The Way Back, welcome! Sit back, relax, and enjoy this book first.
Shane can have the love of his life.
Ilya can have a home with Shane.
They can both be genuinely happy.
They can go after the Stanley Cup together.
And Ilya’s mind can still become a difficult place to live in.
All those things can coexist.Fully written and complete at nearly 83,000 words. A full-length continuation of Rachel Reid’s series, picking up after her sixth book, The Long Game.
The second book in my series is The Way Back, and it’s posting now. Subscribing to After the Long Game won’t tell you when chapters in The Way Back post — so subscribe to both, or to the series, or to me as an author, if you’d like to know.
