WHAP
WHACK
Those sounds repeated in his ears with each harsh, powerful punch he delivered to the punching bag hanging out before him. As the sweat dripped from his entire form, and as his breaths continued to be heated and heavy, the so-called 'Little' Mac fixated his eyes entirely on the punching back. Focusing on it as if it were an opponent standing before him in the ring. The punches of the boxers were more and more intense with each hit; he knew that if he wanted to keep himself in shape, and that he wanted his position in the boxing world, he had to keep his sharp game.
Mac stopped for a while, and took a deep breath, trying to take a moment to get calm, that’s where he hears a familiar voice.
“Your punches are getting better and better.”
“Huh?” hearing that voice Mac perk up and turn in it’s direction after landing his final punch onto the bag. His entire chest motioning with each heavy huff and puff that he had to make, his eyes were widened with curiosity as he wanted to see who had spoken to him: Ryo Hazuki.
Ryo was a man roughly around Mac’s age: the boy was of Japanese origin, of muscular built clad in a white undershirt and a brown aviator jacket, denim jeans and white tennis shoes. The Japanese man walk towards Mac with a smile for him;
“Mind if I train with you?” Ryo asked the Italian boxer, who for a moment just stood blankly at the asian man - who was quite a sight for those green eyes of his to behold. That body of his was damn fit, if Mac didn’t say so himself; his well-toned muscles that have been created after years of training on martial arts that could be seen through the white undershirt were a delight, the boxer was more than tempted on touching Ryo’s well toned and muscular arms as he takes off the jacket.
“Not at all, be my guest.” Mac responded after shaking his head back to reality and subconsciously hoping that he hadn’t been drooling, “More than enough room up here!”
“Thanks” Ryo replied before he could crack his knuckles and neck, getting ready “Now watch” and with that, Ryo gave out his first punches to the bag, strong punches that were seemingly comparable with Mac’s own. Watching closely, Mac didn’t miss a single second - from the moment Ryo’s knuckles made contact with the bag to even the sound of the impact itself. It was impressive enough to him that he even let out a whistle after what he had seen.
“That’s a good first hit!” he complimented, “Let’s see ya keep it up!”
“Is that a challenge?” Ryo asked, playfully with a smirk and a raised eyebrow. It almost caught Mac off guard for a moment, though that face quickly turned into one of confidence as he remarked back:
“A’ight, I see how it is. Yeah” he said, “Let’s go!”
Then Ryo managed to do his stuff: by first hitting the right spots and making some punch combos at the punching bag, and while the bag was swinging, so did his legs; as he was delivering strong kicks, and eventually Ryo changed alternating between punches and kicks and Mac managed to see it all up close and personal, and the boxer liked what he saw: a fierce martial artist displaying his skills. After that, Ryo took a breathing stance after finishing his demonstration.
“N-not bad, Ryo.” Mac complimented, “I didn’t saw anyone fight like that before.”
“Well...it’s a different style.” Ryo replied, “Martial arts.”
“Oh yeah?” Mac raised a brow, a most interested smirk on his face, “What kind?”
“Martial arts is a pretty broad term” Ryo explained between delivering more attacks for Mac to bear witness too, “I’m experienced in both Japanese and Chinese styles.”
“Can...can you teach me those?”
“Sure.”
“Wait, for free, right?”
“Well, now that you mention it….” Ryo let his voice trail off, as if just to lead Mac into a certain direction. Though just as Mac seemed to become worried, Ryo with a smile said “Of course they’ll be for free~”
“...cool.”
“On one condition, though.”
“Which is…”
Ryo held Mac by the cheek as he most bluntly spoke out what this condition of his was:
“You let me kiss you~”
“Hu-huh?”, Mac’s face blushed a notable red color when he heard those words enter his ear. Ryo’s voice was already making him question things about himself, let alone the words themselves. The fact that he said that while that smooth hand of his was grabbing onto Mac’s own face just intensified everything.
“Ki-kiss you?” Mac asked dumbfounded, watching as Ryo nodded in response; words couldn’t describe how Mac was feeling as he pondered whether or not to agree to such a thing. In his hesitation, he responded by asking more; “Why do you want a kiss for me, Ryo?” he asked, visibly still taken aback by it all.
“Because I like you, Mac; I like you a lot~”
Mac’s face, somehow, became even redder at that point. Something which didn’t go unnoticed by Ryo:
“Heh...you look so cute right now when you blush~” after a brief laugh, Ryo realized Mac needed some help in getting his mind back onto a proper track, “So, is that a kiss or a no kiss?”
Mac didn’t immediately respond with words, instead all he could make himself do is jump himself up and into Ryo’s arms, almost making him trip as he had to quickly respond to the move, but soon enough did Ryo find his balance and settle in to carrying Mac in a manner as though the two had just been married. All while the two remained locking both lips and tongues with one another.
“Mghmmm, Mac….Mac…”
Mac…
Mac….
MAC!
That was the moment where Mac snapped back to reality, so to speak.
“I told you that I could teach you about what I know about martial arts.”
As soon as Mac heard that, he realized that he was merely overtaken by a lengthy daydream. Shaking himself back to reality he quickly tried to save face and act as though none of that had happened - though it certainly didn’t make his embarrassment go away so quickly:
“Ah...C-cool, I guess, hehe…”
Ryo, looking at Mac and how nervous he seemed, couldn’t help but raise a brow. He had no idea what had been going on in the boxer’s head mere moments ago, though with a shrug he thought nothing of it:
“I guess that this could only happen on my head” Mac thought as he tried to focus on keep sparring, but unbeknownst to the boxer, Ryo had another set of thoughts in mind:
Heh...he’s cute when he’s so oblivious...don’t worry, Ryo...sooner or later, he’s gonna fall for you.
