Is it slate? With the outside getting darker and darker, the warm air breezing in, the bracelet wrap looks like midnight remembering something it forgot at twilight. The clasp might as well be a mini solar flare in the dim of the spaceship's cockpit, and Tony tries and fails to recall the last time he bought something that wasn’t a self-indulgent binge that tends to accompany a close call and normally ends up with Peter muttering, “You shouldn't have.”
Tony didn’t buy him this. He could have; it’s tasteful, not blinding like some gaudy, gem-encrusted monstrosity. It doesn't scream look at me, I'm worth more than your car. Instead, it whispers, look closer.
Really, Tony lecturing about the dangers of accepting gifts from power players is a joke so rich it should be taxed.

[“I – ah fuck – I got a – Fuck ow! I have a Charlie horse. It hurts so much!” Peter gasped, tears coming into his eyes as Tony watched the boy’s body shake in a full body tremor.
“Oh shit. Fuck. Okay okay. Try to relax as much as you can Pete, the more you can avoid tensing your muscles, the faster the tremors will fade.” Tony advised, trying to make his voice calming. He was somewhat relived he hadn’t caused this specifically, but he couldn’t help feeling guilty. Especially with the boy in tears in front of him. Clutched into a fetal position and trying to relax his limbs before another tremor will hit and he’ll tense up again and retract himself, repeating the process as he continued to sob out broken sounds.
He’d be sore for days at this point if it kept up, hell, tony was getting sore watching him. He had to fix this, and then an idea popped into his head.
“Here kid, Do you think you can stand for me? I’m gonna take us into the sauna, the heat should relax your muscles enough so you can calm down.” Tony said, hefting an arm under Peter’s and Dragging him to his feet. Peter only nodded, allowing himself to be dragged over to the steam room.]
