EDIT: Currently rewriting a newer and better draft of this, so although I will be leaving this up there will be a better one coming!
This is literally just a self indulgent fic of the aftermath of Until Dawn. Going by the everyone lives ending, what I read on the wiki, and Markiplier's playthrough bc I don't have a playstation. It starts about a month after the canon game, and I'm going with there being a big police investigation and stuff so they haven't talked to each other since it all happened, but they have been going to therapy and stuff. Other than that, have fun?? Um thank you so much if you're reading this lol Ik the game is like 7 years old.

Summary
**SPOILERS FOR UNTIL DAWN**
Josh never believed that he had a future for himself after that night on the mountain, especially after all of the suffering that he had put his friends through. How could he possibly start making amends? How could he possibly continue living? But somehow, he made it through the other side, got married, and even adopted a child. He put in the work, but that doesn't mean that life is normal or in any ways easy. Some monsters never go away, and Josh confronts this fact and reflects on his life after tucking his daughter into bed one night.

Am I one of the only people still activley writing until dawn fanficition? Probably. It's honestly been years since I've tried my hand at something like this, but my current obsessive hyperfixation on this game has sparked my more creative interest.
And so,, here we are. This is just going to be a passion project; my own personal spin on the until dawn storyline, what I consider to be cannon and true in my heart. In this story characters choices will hold more weight and the butterfly effect will be more prominent, as well as being based on my personal choices made throughout the game and headcannon storyline. I'm not really expecting anyone to read this, but if you do, I hope you enjoy!
