Summary
Peter and Wade team up so often, in fact, that they’ve ended up belly-to-belly in broom closets, wedged together like puzzle pieces in wooden crates during hideouts, and in various close-up positions that require a significant amount of trust for Peter to be comfortable with. But it took a while.

The day of graduation Castiel’s world fell apart. He and Dean had been the best of friends, and then lovers but he missed graduation and when he went to find him… he found John Winchester instead. The angry drunk said some things and Castiel left without telling Dean how he felt. Off to Eden to become an angelic soldier, Castiel never forgot Dean. The angel wrote letter after letter and never got a response.
Eight years later, his sister Anna was getting married to a human. Charlie was wonderful and both her and Anna had invited Castiel to the wedding… but he was unsure if he should go. Both of them were Dean’s friends once upon a time and he might be there too. Castiel would never forgive himself for ruining Anna and Charlie’s day.
Of course Anna told him that it was going to be fine, so he went and met the most adorable little fledglings who were trying to fly. They had to be about seven when the wings were getting strong enough to fly after growing… but then they mentioned their daddy had a shiny black car just like Cas’ wings… and the wedding singer of the throw back band had a voice that reminded him of Dean… and wait how old were these boys?

Summary
Peter doesn’t think he’s lonely. He’s too busy to be lonely. He’s twenty-two, working on his PhD and holding down a shitty job at the Daily Bugle, not to mention his nightly extra-curricular activities. He’s too busy for friends, and he’s certainly too busy for romantic interests. And yet, shockingly, apparently everyone in his life thinks he needs to stop being an anti-social recluse and get laid.
So Peter enters the wide, wonderful world of online dating. He doesn’t expect to find his soul mate, or even a friend, and he’s definitely not looking for hook ups. He doesn’t know what he’s looking for, really, until one Wade W. Wilson catches his eye and captures his heart with risqué dog pics and a concerning obsession with cannibalistic serial killers.
This is a love story. A sweet, inevitable journey towards each other. There is humor, and melancholy, and a touch of both gravitas and levity to the weeks that trickle by. But really it’s just an account of the slow, magnetic movement of Peter towards Wade, and Wade towards Peter.

Meeting Wade Wilson was completely coincidental. Maybe.
