He really wonders what Firelilytea looks like. In his life, Sokka has never met a person who's sensory perceptions are screwed on a whole side of their face. Does it show? Is it bad he's been looking around at everyone a bit too longer lately?
Sometimes if he sees a person carrying a cup from the cafe he'll stare up at their face to see if that could be them. Each time it isn't.

Or: One night of Sokka pretending to be the courting the Fire Lord leads to a morning after in his bed. They’re able to plan a date after his next work trip, only there’s two major issues. Sokka’s ship gets lost after a storm. And— Toph’s seismic senses have detected a new Fire Nation royal.

Sokka's hand moved, gripping Zuko's hair and yanking his head back. The sudden pain drew a sharp gasp from the Fire Lord's throat.
"That mouth of yours is going to get you in trouble," Sokka growled, leaning down until his lips brushed Zuko's ear. "You want to be difficult? I'll treat you like the brat you are."
He hauled Zuko to his feet, spinning him around and bending him over the desk. Scrolls scattered to the floor as Sokka pressed his weight down, pinning the Fire Lord in place. His free hand worked at Zuko's robes, yanking the fabric aside with impatient movements.
