Summary
Damian Wayne has already gone to hell once. He has no desire to go back there, going so far as to meet with John Constantine to find a way to prevent it. If only Drake would stop sticking his pretty nose into Damian's business.
Timothy Drake trusts Damian. Of course, after all this time working together, he does. But he can't help investigating when he finds Damian meeting with Constantine and sneaking away to abandoned league bases. He just wants to know what Damian is up to. The attraction he feels for the younger man has nothing to do with it, of course.

“Like a few murder attempts could end my hero-crush on the Biānfú.” Tim replies. “Really, once I got over them,” A process of years, “I saw them as something to take pride in.” Tim’s lips quirk. “I threatened you so much that you had to take action. A prince, an assassin, and the heir of two dynasties—yet little old me was enough to knock you off your game.”
He has Damian tilt his head back and water is poured over his hair, washing out the shampoo. “Aren’t you glad you didn’t succeed?” He asks. The question is meant to be teasing, but Damian doesn't think he manages the right tone, and instead it is terribly revealing. Honest. Genuine.
“You died anyway.” Damian points out. Timothy shrugs.
“Not by your hand.”
True enough. “I’d have made it cleaner.”
“Sure. So you pushed me off the dinosaur because it would be a cleaner death. Right.”
Despite himself, Damian snorts.
