Summary
Harry Potter was not having a good day. Struck by lightning, chased by 'giants', becoming trapped in Devil's Snare and nearly ending up an Acromantula's pre-dinner appetiser, are all very bad things. And he is now living in the Slytherin dorms. It says something about his life that he isn't really all that surprised by the events of the last twenty-four hours. It's a wonder he hasn't gone barmy before now. It really is.
It also should be taken under advisement, that Draco Malfoy should NOT be allowed to name things. EVER.
And what is up with Nearly Headless Nick and the other ghosts? Why is someone going around polyjuiced as Harry? Why do they smell like radishes? And do they HAVE to suck on so many sugar quills?

He was very familiar with every stage of Hermione Granger’s appearance, as he’d spend much of his Hogwarts years staring at her from across the library. He hadn’t been brave enough to talk to her as a teenager, not only because it was hard to approach a crush, but also because he'd known that making his private affection for the muggle-born witch anything but private would bring them both trouble. Between the other boys in Slytherin, his father, and the brewing war, trying to get close to Hermione Granger would have been stupid and Theo had never been stupid.
Hermione blinked at Nott’s question, which would have made no sense if the circumstances were any different. “We’ve gone back in time,” she breathed between them even as she scarcely accepted the situation.

Dementor oc/si mc | their emotions are dampened | the scenes with him gliding in and putting puppy sirius in his lap and either petting him or brushing his fur was ao cute | they got telekinesis with they can male telekinetic blades | they can read minds | theyre able to control who their passive feeding and cold aura affects | they can convey order to dementors | they can talk in their creepy raspy dementory way | they cant literally see no eyes they see magic and souls | souls are increate patterns | so are wards | waves and petterns of threads the both

Summary
After the fiasco that was the end of the Triwizard Tournament, Harry was sent back to the Dursleys' for the summer holidays. Unfortunately for Harry, it's more of the same. Heatstroke here, bruising there, and a little starvation all around. Left to stew in his juices away from the Wizarding World and his "friends" Harry finally reaches the end of his, frankly too long, rope. To say the least, he starts off with in a flaming fashion and finds himself facing a few cold-blooded truths.
