Even in the crowd, he could see Xie Lian’s eyes formed into crescent moons, his smile standing out even more than his clothing, incomparably bright. And Hua Cheng’s stomach tightened, nodding at Xie Lian. It was all rushing back, the memories pulling him deep down into a trance state only known by those in love. It was his turn something, and he nearly choked as he came closer to the microphone, barely hearing himself sing about a childhood crush, his stupid heart.
