Summary
Merlin grows up in a cave with Balinor because of the ban on magic. Balinor is killed by a magical beast, and shortly after, Arthur, wounded by the same beast, stumbles into Merlin's cave. Merlin doesn't talk much because, well, he was never taught English, and he doesn't know that Arthur is the king. He also doesn't understand the growing feelings of arousal he starts to have for the injured man.
