“Then why?” Hyunjin asks, voice merely above a whisper. “Why do you keep acting weird around me, why do you keep being distant?”
Changbin squeezes his eyes shut. “I don't know.” He murmurs back, but they both know it's a lie. I do know. He thinks, but never voices. I know its because I've fallen and it could ruin everything.
He wants to go home. He wants the ground to open up and swallow him. He wants Hyunjin to hold him.
Hyunjin's been in love with Changbin since the day they met. Changbin insists that he isn't a man of romance– but maybe, just maybe, he's been a little bit in love with him all this time as well.
And even if the road to happiness is harsh and unforgiving, maybe it's all worth it in the end anyway.

The fantasies sound like heaven to Hyunjin. He grips Chan’s wrist tightly, shocking him into pulling away– a snide remark at the tip of his tongue before Hyunjin grabs a shard of glass, silencing him by digging the sharp edge into Chan’s jaw.
“If you ever hurt me physically again, I’ll kill you.” He says, tone harder than it’s ever been, smile sweeter than sugar.
Hyunjin never wants to let go of Chan no matter what he puts him through– because he knows that at the end, Chan will always come back to him.

Another fact he's found out about the prince– one that's worse for his well-being– is that Hyunjin is really cute. Fatally cute, even. Changbin-could-lose-his-job cute.
He'd probably get blacklisted from the kingdom if the king and queen knew about his attraction to their son; and yet he can't tear his eyes away from Hyunjin at any passing moment, staring in wonder when he rattles off about his trip to the village or how he'd managed to scratch himself on a tree bark again. He talks so animatedly and he's so clumsy, Changbin finds himself totally enamoured.
OR the five love languages might exactly be what Changbin needs to court the very beautiful and very chaotic prince of Korea. Leave it up to prince Hyunjin to already be smitten.
(alternatively; 5 times Changbin shows Hyunjin love, and 1 time Hyunjin returns it all in a grand gesture.)

Is it? He knows Minho and Jisung kiss– he has his suspicions on Changbin and Hyunjin, but does that just mean they've all been kissing all along and leaving him out of it? Do they not like him like that? Is that why no one's made any further advances?
He shakes the thought away; he's gotten kissed by like, five of them, he's gotta have some faith that they do actually like him– but it still leaves a twinge of doubt at how casual everyone else seems to act about the kissing, how no one else seems to freak out like he does.
OR Chan keeps getting kissed by his members. It probably doesn't mean anything that he enjoys it much more than he should, right? They're all just friends– Chan isn't in love with them, Right?
