Summary
"This was something she hadn’t realised she needed at first, but as she passed over perfectly nice house after perfectly charming house, she realised that none felt like home. So she played her favourite song, let its synthetic notes turn vibrant and translucent in her heart, and mindfully played on the piano to help her decide the vivace inherent."
Audrey always follows the song in her heart.

Summary
"'Oi!'
Harry heard the whoosh of a pillow flying through the air. He leaned away, but it still caught him on the chest. He smiled before flinging it back at Ron, who was leaning against the headboard and had no escape. He cried out, his yell quickly becoming muffled by the pillow smacking his face as Harry and Hermione laughed.
'Alright, enough of this childish behaviour,' Ron chided them, as though he hadn’t been the one to start it. 'Let’s go have some breakfast.'"
Harry and his family set out to make the most of Christmas this year, while still dealing with the damage from the war.

"'Tell me why, again?' he asked her.
'Because I’m so bored! So bored. And I know you are too,' she said, giving him a threatening look. She took up a wide-tooth comb and dipped it in the glass of water. 'If I have to hear any more background lore about Martin Miggs, I swear to all that’s holy I will drive a pencil through my ear.'"
Harry lets Hermione play with his hair to kill time, and friendship ensues.

Summary
"Pansy says that he’s changed, and that he seems like a whole new man nowadays. He doesn’t feel different. His life has taken a turn that he never would have imagined, and he has learned to be brave about following his heart, but it’s the same heart he’s always had, isn’t it? It’s led him to the continent for months at a time, away from home, from his mother and his new something with Harry, to study with the best mindhealers in Europe. This heart led him to a cottage in Keswick with its tiny garden in the back, a second bedroom with a nightlight and spare play clothes for Teddy, and his and Harry’s shoes jumbled up together by the side door."
In which Draco Malfoy moves on.

Summary
"Harry nodded. The whole house had an unfriendly air to it and was stale in the same way that Privet Drive always felt. He looked down at the dog in his hand, now chewing on his thumb hungrily.
"'Keep it,' Sarah said, sliding shoes onto her feet. 'She doesn’t love it. She hardly remembers she has it most of the time.'"
Love is selfless, always.

Summary
"Ron rolled his eyes at him. 'I’m guessing you haven’t eaten recently. Or slept?'
Feeling mulish, Harry frowned at him and leaned away in his seat. Ron looked incredulous, but also like he expected nothing less from him than to fail completely at looking after himself. Harry had come to expect this type of nagging concern from Hermione, and knew how to shoulder it without taking it too personally. But Ron had grown a strong motherly instinct since quitting auror work to help George full-time. The guilt upon noticing this energy directed at himself was miserable.
'I slept some,' Harry protested weakly, feeling distinctly uncomfortable under Ron’s knowing gaze."
Harry has a bad day and learns that resilience is great, but loved ones are better.

"'Ni yao shenme?' the witch asked when Harry was close enough to the counter.
'Er, we’re looking for Cho?'
'Ah!' the greying witch said, smiling kindly, before taking a breath and shouting out into the shop. 'Cho! Yi wei yingjun de pengyou laile baifang ni!'"

“Look, ‘Mione, I’m sorry.”
"Oh. Hmm. For what?"
“For, er, being too understanding.”
There was an intake of breath from everyone else in the room as Ron shoved his foot down his own throat.
“Ooh, Granger, let me thrash him.”

“I think it’s crazy to keep something like that a secret. He should have told you, then you could be together in school like Uncle Ron and Aunt Miney.”
A softspoken truth.
“Love can be crazy. And scary. And weird and confusing and wonderful…”
“Yes, alright Harry, I get it.”
“Sorry. I just love love.”

Summary
“'I daresay you and I have much darker things we could imagine as worst-case scenarios than the average bloke on the street, wouldn’t you?'
'You know too much, Daddy,' Lily told him, sounding much too similar to Hermione’s swotting voice."
Nothing, good or bad, can last forever. Except my love for you.
