Scratch that, it probably does.
Well, that may have been a little too straightforward, so he’ll explain the situation mentioned beforehand from the very beginning.
It was no surprise to anyone that Saparata sucks at maths, and when he says this, he doesn’t mean “B/C grade student”. He genuinely means he’s on the brink of failing maths. Don’t get him wrong, it’s not that he doesn’t care about maths, far from it, actually. He just couldn’t find it in himself to pay attention in class, especially with the upcoming exams fucking up his sleep schedule immensely.

On top of that, the classes were far too small to fit thirty-five students, and had too little chairs for each student, meaning a few had to sit down on the floor during class, one of them unfortunately being him.
It’s not like Saparata cared if he had to sit on the floor. Hell, he would’ve even preferred it if it meant that other people got to sit down on chairs. Besides, the floor was perfectly clean thanks to the school’s amazing cleaning staff, so it wasn’t an issue by his standards.
No, no. The issue was much, much bigger.
He had to sit next to Fluixon.

What snaps him out of his thoughts is a head of pale-white hair that passes by in a flash, so quickly that Fluixon nearly mistakes it for snow. He whips his head around, but to his surprise, the person is nowhere to be seen. He assumes he’s just seeing things or mistook an animal—perhaps a stray brushbuddy—that crawled by. He’s half-tempted to search for the mystery person, but he stops himself from looking for them when he realises the time is far later than the time he planned on getting back. He’s certain that Elanuelo will genuinely yell at him, maybe even forbid him from leaving the house, so he rushes quickly to arrive back at the windowway he came in from, before flying the remaining distance to reach the atelier on time.

In which Fluixon and Saparata are both witches who have been taken in as apprentices, have lunch with each other, and decide they’re inseparable. The thing is, nothing ever lasts forever.

“You’re all damp and sweaty. Go run a bath and I’ll finish up dinner for us.” With that, Saparata exits the kitchen completely, heading upstairs into their bedroom to take off his clothes and shower.
Fluixon prepares the meal with care and love—a dash of salt in the pasta water before dropping the noodles in, a few pieces of basil into the tomato sauce once it’s done simmering, a handful of ice cubes into the glass before pouring in some red wine, three pinches or four of white powder into the small almond cake he’s baked for their dessert—not missing a single step in each of the recipes. The end result is nothing but stunning. Two plates of spaghetti and marinara sauce sit opposite of each other, glasses of wine on the left and cutlery organised on a napkin placed on the right. The almond cake rests in the centre of the table, the aromatic dessert finishing off Fluixon’s masterpiece.

Fluixon already had shulkers full of blackstone and other building materials in his inventory from the expedition for materials the night before, so he didn’t stop at any other place to collect anything, save for the small storage room on the floor below his destination to get some lanterns. Then, when he arrived, he started to work on one of the walls, patching up holes in some areas and lighting up the area.
The thing that made him freeze was the sight of a figure completely dressed in white, four pairs of wings enveloping the body like a crisp clean blanket, two attached to the head, one on the back, and one near the waist. Long white hair cascaded around the figure’s shoulders like a waterfall, sleek and elegant. A golden halo floated above their head, spiked at some areas, and white roses and thorns curved around their biceps, the stems a dark and brooding green. The pairs of wings on their head shielded their eyes, covering their face completely, which only made them look more like an angel.

Summary
Fluixon likes the rain. He loves the way it’s always so silent outside, everyone else huddled in their homes while complaining. The sound of it pattering against the windows repeatedly is oddly soothing as well, and he finds comfort in things that are orderly. That being said though, he only likes the rain when he’s indoors.

In which Fluixon nearly resembles a wet soggy cat whenever he’s stuck in the rain, Saparata likes to play hero and save the day, and maybe the rain isn’t that bad if Saparata’s willing to help him whenever he gets into predicaments like this.

“So… Fluixon Aculon, am I right?” Their voice is low, raspy, and sounds like it really fucking hurts to speak. “Haven’t seen you around this server. I assume you’re from another server, am I right?”
Fluixon’s lips purse. He doesn’t know whether he should respond or not. A response means he’s giving in and submitting, which is something he doesn’t do, but it also means that he might be able to live another day as well. He weighs out the pros and cons internally, and when he does reply, he feels the blade of the sword dig into his skin, not deep enough to draw blood, but just enough to actually be there.
”It’s actually Fluixon of Aculon. The kingdom wasn't named after me.” He corrects.
“Don’t play any games with me. You’re at my mercy.” They remind. Fluixon gulps at the words.

In which this is Fluixon’s first time being held hostage so don’t attack him if he’s doing anything wrong, he really needs to learn how to shut up sometimes, and Saparata maybe a little (read: very) insane and down bad for his husband.
