Summary
Alyosha looked at his partners, trying to hide the mix of confusion and disgust growing inside him.
“I appreciate the thought but… I’d never use a shock collar on a Tugarin. Dogs are perfectly trainable without electrocution as punishment.”
“It’s not for Tugarin,” Mitya corrected him.
The words rolled over him like a wave, crashing down with such force that he almost fell over.
“…What?”

Summary
Tugarin watched him, eyes following Alyosha across the kitchen as he stumbled to pour himself a glass of water. Alyosha narrowed his teary eyes at him and pouted, wiping his lips with his forearm.
“You’re judging me, aren’t you?” his voice was uncomfortably hoarse.
His friend barked, as if agreeing. Alyosha groaned and poured himself another shot, taking a deep breath before downing it. Just three wouldn’t hurt, right?
OR: Alyosha finds out why drinking on an empty stomach is a bad idea. Risks include: dizziness, headaches, nausea, and forgetting how to act around your very concerned boyfriend

Summary
Odette is a detective investigating a series of burglaries. She quickly figures out that all victims targeted can been tied back to significant marine ecosystem damage; all clues indicate that a water imp is angry about her home is being destroyed. Despite there being no known water imps in Snezhnograd, Odette has a hunch as to who it could be--
She just has to slip a certain soprano's dress off to confirm her theory.
OR: Mitya convinces Odette to try on a tuxedo. Vodyanitsa can't get the image of Odette fucking her against a table while wearing it out of her head. She shamelessly asks Odette to roleplay with her, not expecting much.
Odette not only agrees, but suggests Mitya watches them.
