Summary
Post-RAW: 12/11/17
"It's late. It was trying to find an open grocery store in a strange city. Took some time and 15 stores. Patience, Rollins." Roman thrusts a canvas tote bag of groceries at Seth. "How's our boy?"
"Finally got him to sleep. He paced for over an hour, ranting and raving about being a weak link and not deserving us. I finally got him to settle down and let me hold him until he fell asleep. Joe did a fucking number on him and I'm pretty sure Jason didn't help." Seth nods in the general direction of the king sized bed where Dean's sprawled out in the middle. "His throat's raw and he doesn't have much of a voice either."
After the events of last week's RAW, Roman and Seth do their best to comfort Dean.

Summary
"Do you get the distinct feeling we're missing something?" Seth asks, staring at the hotel suite. "Like I just feel like something is missing."
"You mean the bratty pain in the ass we left at home with a big, empty bed and more casseroles than he'll need for the 37 hours we'll be gone?" Roman remarks, rolling his eyes. "Okay, maybe- just maybe- I hated leaving him."
Dean's not even a week post surgery. It had been unexpected but he was managing as well as could be expected.
The worst part is he's separated from his partners on Christmas Day. It's the first holiday they've been apart for.

Summary
"Just to be clear, I am in no way responsible for what our boy does to you," Roman says, drumming his fingers against the passenger window.
"It can't be that bad, right?" Seth asks, gripping the steering wheel tight enough for his knuckles to turn white.
'Wouldn't be the first time he's gotten mad for something small." Roman shrugs.
"You're mad too." Seth can feel the energy pouring off Roman. "I don't know why you're mad."
The second he finishes the sentence, Seth realizes he's said precisely the wrong thing. He understands why they're angry. He also knows being insolent will only make it worse.
Oh the joys of being in the dog house...
"Hope you like the guest room," Roman says harshly.

Summary
Dean's bored.
He's stuck home, watching RAW and wishing he could be there. Then, he stares around the empty room and wishes his partners were with him. He's never been good at being left to his own devices.
Dean hates this. Being home is great but he misses the thrill of the road. He misses being surrounded by people. Life on the road never seemed so bad because he had Seth and Roman with him. Just the three of them against the road.

Dean can’t stop pacing. After watching *that*, he’s worried. Anything could be happening. Does he need to book a flight to wherever the hell they were? What state were they even in? Where the hell had Seth left their travel itinerary?
As he paces, he can’t resist cursing at the sky. He doesn’t know who he wants to murder more. Samoa Joe for injuring him? Jason for knocking his partners off their game? The Miz and The Miztourage for attacking them?

Post-RAW 1/15/18
Dean never thought he'd see the day that he would willingly send himself to the guest room. He's madly in love with his partners and prefers to be around them when they're home, especially now that he's injured. He's just too irritated with Seth to even consider joining their communal bed. Instead of starting an all-out war and forcing Roman to choose sides, Dean chooses to be the bigger person and take his me time.

"Deano?" Roman's voice echoes through the front entryway of their house. "Are you here?"
"It's 2:30 in the damn morning- where else would I be?" Dean replies gruffly. He sighs, grabbing a potholder and pulling a tin of banana protein muffins out of the oven. He huffs, sticking a cookie sheet of raisin protein cookies in the oven to bake.
"Are you baking?" Roman comes into the kitchen and grabs Dean from behind. "Since when do you cook?"

Summary
Dean is jealous.
He also doesn't want to admit that to either one of his partners. He's supposed to be supportive and yet, it's difficult when they're off doing amazing things while he's rehabbing his injury and playing house husband. It's enough to drive even the strongest person off the deep end and into the throes of insanity.

Dean jerks up as much as his body will allow. There's can't be any way he'd heard that correctly. Not coming home? Where the hell was he? "What? Repeat that."
"This Lesnar thing's got him really riled up." Seth shakes his head. "He found an AirBnB rental in the mountains. I have no clue. Said something about being one with the world."

Dean would have thought he would be used to this by now. Roman was clearly in over his head when it came to dealing with Seth and his (justified) mood swings.
This time, Dean had been smart about it. Instead of waiting and needing to catch a last minute flight, he chose to travel with them, hanging back at the hotel during the show.

Summary
As hard as he tried, Seth just couldn't fall asleep. To his exhausted body, it felt like the middle of the afternoon. He knew he should take some Benadryl and drift off but he didn’t want to.
If he woke up and the entire night turned out to be a dream, it would devastate him. As far as he knew, he was still on a flight to China, dreaming of what he hoped to return to. That would suck in the worst possible way.

Summary
The dirt cracks beneath his boots. The trailer plots are all dirt, with patches of brown grass scattered around. Something tells Dean it's like this when it's not the dead of fall.
He'd always made it a point to avoid places like that. They all reminded of where he grew up and that's a place he never wanted to revisit.
Yet, places like this provide anonymity. The neighbors don't ask too many questions because they're into worse shit than you. Besides, how much is he really home?
