Kal-El is in orbit when he hears it; the faintest drawing of breath, and a heartbeat too familiar beating far too slow. A quiet apology, whispered between gasping breaths and wet coughs that has Kal bursting into the ceiling of a warehouse faster than he's ever moved in his life. A body, bloody and beaten, with a familiar head of messy black hair and blue eyes that were quickly losing their luster with every second that passed.

Summary
Bruce grabs the wrists that are held against his chest, trying to push him off. Kal just shoves him again, his deceptive strength keeping Bruce pinned. His eyes are ablaze, brows low and angry, disapproving. He’s shorter than Bruce, dark hair blowing in the wind, but his presence is large, his power crackling under his skin. “Get off me.”
“No.” Kal’s fingers are digging into his armor, leaving dents. “You’re reckless and stupid. You don’t know what you’re doing.”
“And you do? How long have you even been on this planet?”
Kal draws his hand back, and Bruce tenses, thinking this is it. They’re finally going to kick the shit out of each other, and probably break some things along the way.
But that doesn’t happen.

She works under Vic as an investigative journalist during the day and puts on her own synthetic skin and anonymously becomes The ‘New’ Question at night.

October 3rd 9:45pm, rain beats down hard on Hub City as cameras survey the streets below. Jumbotrons throughout the city faintly spew an announcement from KBEL-TV, drowned out mostly by the frenzy of drops. Down a desolate alley, one of the few places without a camera a manhole rises enough to slide to the side.
Someone with a fedora slowly raises themselves from the hole, rain drooping the rim of their hat. They look back and forth making sure the coast is clear. Getting out we see more of them. They’re wearing a dark blue trench with long frizzy hair pulled back into a ponytail.

Summary
After the events of the Party Animals, Bruce Wayne was caught and detained. His mom working with the Mayor pulled some strings and was able to get UA to take him as a student. The Mayor along with the local pro heroes thought it was a good idea, as there were protests to get Bruce released and they were getting violent.
Bruce got lucky. Extremely lucky. But he was controversial figure now. He did something that was causing people in America to question the hero system now. Having him attend UA was their way of trying to convince people that pro heroes can be counted on, by having Batman become one. Some people saw through the whole thing, but most fell for it likely out of a need to believe in them.
Now Bruce Wayne is in Japan, on parole, kept an eye on, and now attending UA.
