As I take pause to think and plot Gasoline, it has come to my attention that I really want to make the Malfoy Family very
different than how they are usually portrayed - now, yes, there are plentiful stories of a Protective Lucius and a Draco
who cares a lot about others - but there's an element.. I feel I wish to show..
To preface this story - Narcissa Malfoy (now Black - again) left Draco and Lucius when Draco was five years old..
Seemingly, in this world, it appears that single mum's have a ton to deal with and sometimes that "father" in that picture
is usually a 'bad guy.'
Not so for this.. Voldemort was defeated by Lily, James and Snape long before anything else occured..
Narcissa, Bella, and loyal Death Eaters were devastated.. so, she left Lucius.. literally kicked him out.. here's the real
gut punch - SHE was the one with the money.. so they (Lucius and Draco) are in effect near homelessness.
Granger's parents step up - and you will see.. what happens.
