He's left to raise the child on his own, with no idea when his alpha would return, or if he would return alive. But Adrian is nothing but optimistic, that he will finally get to introduce the two to each other for the first time. Then he finds how hard it really is, and just hopes its all gonna be worth it.

Chris Smith has a lot on his plate: killing bad guys, arguing with his teammates, and most of all, trying not to strangle Adrian Chase.
Vigilante is his partner in crimefighting, his constant shadow: a ninja with way too much enthusiasm and zero sense of personal boundaries.
