Dungeon Meshi AU i've been cooking up that instead of The Demon eating desires, it feasts upon ones humanity, ultimately driving the person mad and turning them into a monster. They specifically target people who represent a specific aspect of the seven deadly sins, persuading/manipulating them to commit such acts more and more until they have no sense of humanity left.
________________________________________________Laios party fall prey to the Demon, getting separated upon their journey finding the mad mage and saving Falin. An unknown force keeps keeping them apart no matter how hard they try to find each other. It doesn't last long. Despite the circumstances they persevere forward. Little do they know their next monstrous meal could be a friend.

After defeating the demon, laios's group stayed on the surface for a bit as they had to negotiate a few things about owning the dungeon with the governor and the canaries. Many house had been destroyed and many of the group members had to move their belongings to an inn.
Chairokuri, the mute dwarf they encountered in the dungeon half way through their journey had been bothered for a few days now, trying his best to not do anything inappropriate in the Inn bedroom that was rented to him. But the blue suitcase laying in the corner of the room was more and more tempting, salivating at the prospect of savouring those forbidden savour.
