Ianthe was nine years old before she finally accepted the inevitable: that her sister was a necromancer, and she was not. Perhaps Corona has absorbed all her talent in the womb, in the same insatiable insensate hunger that led her to nearly absorb Ianthe’s flesh. Perhaps fate simply had decided, once again, to steal her cards and kick her in the ribs.
Life had never particularly handed Ianthe Tridentarius anything before, so why should it now? She was the second born, the child lacking charisma and gravitas and looks and likeability, and now, apparently, she was the mundane one. Nothing to be done about it; necromancy didn't manifest out of nowhere, not this late. She certainly wasn’t giving up, announcing her failure to the world. She had no interest in throwing in the towel, becoming a cavalier or some such unimpressive, brute nonsense. She would work with what she did have.

Summary
A universal constant is that Shota Aizawa always finds himself in charge of educating Problem Children.
In this universe, he makes the ill-considered choice to volunteer to teach not only a few, randomly-selected Problem Children, but an entire Problem Class of curated students.
The students of Class 1-A include those with terrifying Quirks, personal issues which they have to overcome to become effective heroes, or – most worryingly – both.
If his plan succeeds, then Aizawa will oversee the next generation of great underground heroes.
If it fails? Well, Tartarus is quiet this time of year, right?
(AU: UA is a university. Classes 1-A and 1-B are power-swapped to have Quirks which are the opposite of canon, an ironically suitable Quirk, or a concerning personality-Quirk combination. Class rosters are also different from canon. Slight changes to the setting as a whole.)

Peter knows this is the end. Knows nobody will get to him in time… he’ll bleed out, in the desert sand. Alone.
His eyes feel heavy and slowly he closes them. Tries to breathe, knowing he can’t. Tries to forget the pain, but he can’t do that either. It digs through his chest, not like a bullet, no… It’s sharp and hard. There’s not one, there are a million. A million little things in his chest. But he can’t see them.
And soon, he can’t see anything, but darkness…
