Isaac is completely devoted to protecting the Woodstone royals Henrietta and Samantha and has no time for romance. Fate seems to disagree.

Roberto blinked as he followed the end of the extremities to the man attached to them. Or at least he looked like a human man to him. Of flesh and bones. His blonde hair floated above his head like a golden aureole, enhancing his chiseled features. It was like contemplating a picture of bastardized sacred art, surrounded by a composition of flames and darkness echoing the central deity or man. Floating as if he was suspended on air.
Was it travesty? A manifestation? Or simple delirium? Roberto doubted he had been blessed with grace.

Erestor tugged his hood forward, covering the bottom half of his face with part of his cloak as the bleak north wind whipped past him on the flat wastes. Sand bit into his exposed skin, making him wish he had not shattered the eye coverings he'd first brought with him to Ard-Galen. The sun was setting low on the western horizon, turning the rim of the world blood red. The strange atmosphere on the planet caused such sunsets of vivid color, streaking crimson and gold and violet lines across the whole sky.

Summary
Detroit Station is home to a dying populace, a once thriving manufacturing space station now hanging on with a fraction of it's original population. Still, to Detective Gavin Reed it's home and more importantly the hub of his employment. The Detroit Station's police department has recently expanded its space sector, with new jurisdiction over human colonies on a dozen more planets and space stations.
One of these newly added planets is Jericho, home to an android population with a small established settlement of humans. These androids are known for being nonviolent so when a murdered human was discovered it was considered exceptionally unusual. With Gavin's recent return to the station the case was assigned to him. It would be routine if not for the requirement to team up with an android. Saying he wasn't thrilled with his new partner would be an gross understatement. But it was his job, and perhaps this new partner would pleasantly surprise him. More outlandish things have happened...
